Blueberry Cookbook Giveaway

{Giveaway is Closed}

A very sweet reader in NC emailed me about their 7th annual Blueberry Festival that is held every year in Burgaw, NC.  And she also sent me a copy of their blueberry cookbook, which is chock full of great recipes using at least 1 cup of blueberries, retail value $18.

The festival began back in 2004 and recipes were collected over the years. Finally, enough recipes came together to compile a cookbook  with over 300 blueberry recipes.

I know many of you are berry fans also and would love to have a copy of this cookbook too, so she is graciously giving away 2 more copies to my readers.  All you have to do is leave a comment telling me your favorite way to eat blueberries.  If you don’t win, but would like to purchase a cookbook, you can call 910-259-9817 for all the details.

We LOVE blueberries in our family!  My parents have huge bushes up at their NC house and it’s a treat to go up there and pick this time of year.  In fact, we’ll be going up there very soon doing just that.  Blueberries are SO good for you too, you can’t eat too many of them.

OK, leave a comment and I’ll pick 2 winners for your very own copy of the NC Blueberry Festival Cookbook.

    I’m not sure there is a way I don’t like blueberries. Pancakes, muffins or just by the handful…it’s all yummy!

    My grandparents had a huge blueberry patch, so we ate a lot of blueberries in the summertime. My favorite is blueberry muffins–the King Arthur Flour baking book has a fantastic recipe!

    I like them in Muffins, but they are the DH’s favorite fruit. He has them on cereal or oatmeal, buys the bread the local Amish make with them, will eat them raw or frozen.

    Mmmmm…I love blueberries. My favorite way to eat them is to mix about 2 tbsp sugar with half a block of cream cheese. spread it onto refridgerated crescent rolls that have been separated into 4 rectangles. Top with blueberries and fold up the corners. Bake until golden! Yum!

    My 7 year old granddaughter lives with us and her eyes are the color of blueberries. They are her favorite fruit. We enjoy them in EVERYTHING! Last night it was panna cotta with fresh blueberries and sliced apricots…heavenly. She and I would love a blueberry cookbook to cook from.
