It’s been 7 years since we went on the beach trip to Tybee Island that was so much fun. Since summer is here, I thought you’d enjoy a peek at Mary Kay Andrews Breeze Inn again. It will get you in the mood for a beach trip for sure. Please note, the giveaway was long ago, this is not a current post!
******************************************

I hope you are not tired of seeing these beach cottages on Tybee Island, because I warned you I took lots of pics.  They are too beautiful not to share!  One of the cottages that our group stayed in on Tybee Island with Mermaid Cottages was The Breeze Inn, another of Mary Kay Andrews beach cottages.  It’s such a beauty with an old style beach feel, just as you’d expect from a 60’s beach resort. That’s the feel some of these cottages have. I love the nostalgia created on Tybee and it truly is a fun getaway.  I can’t wait to go back!

The Breeze Inn. Doesn’t this pic just make you smile?

Inside is a welcoming beach cottage chock full of vintage goodness.

Bookcases filled with books and slipcovered chairs.

The living room is a happy mix of coral, blues, and greens. Those cute vintage shutters make the space so quaint.  Check out those lamps, too cute.

We sure loved gathering in here and seeing all the cottages up close.  The 4 Pike Road, AL ladies stayed in this cottage and they loved it.  I can see why. It’s so charming and adorable.

I have been visiting Tybee since I was a little girl. I love everything about Tybee, but the thing I love most is that I feel at HOME when I am there. When we visit it is super hard to cross the marsh to come back to our “real” life.

I would love to go to Tybee Island and stay at the Breeze Inn. I have so enjoyed looking at your pictures! It would definitely be a vacation for my husband and I. We have not had that luxury since we were married almost 11 yrs ago.

I would love to once again completely engulf myself in the sights, sounds, and smells of the sea..nothing like an early morning stroll, or late evening leisurely walk at the edge of the water..and to spend a night in one of the adorable cottages would just be heaven! Oh, I can definitely hear the sea calling………

Nothing – I would love to be able to do absolutely nothing but sit at the ocean’s shore, feeling sun and listening to the waves.

I would love to take my daughter and sister with me to celebrate my retirement from teaching. We all love the beach…such serenity to enjoy a good book or two, family, and the ocean. We never take time for ourselves with family, kids, pets, husbands and the demands of each day.

The beach – love hearing the sound of the waves and walking barefooted in the sand!

Would love to win this and take my mother, who has been wanting to visit Tybee. Thinking we would most enjoy the vintage look and feel of the cottages as well as the laid back vibe of being on vacation time.

Best thing about Tybee Island is the beach and being close to the ocean and the fact that its so close to Savannah is also another perk!

Wow, I’m afraid I goofed and put my name in twice…… Sorry!
Want to thank you for this wonderful post and for sharing your visit to both the cottages at Tybee and Savannah! Your brilliant photos of these lovely places made them really come alive for me and made wish to have been there. I’m already planning our trip to Savannah since after seeing all the fun places you went I asked my husband would he like to go this spring and he agreed we needed to do just that…… We’ve talked about going in the past but your post made that ‘a need to do it soon’ priority, thanks so much for the inspiration!! This cottage is so fun and I love the old fashioned decor, the owner has captured that old time beach cottage feel so well. Thanks again for sharing! Oops, almost forgot what I’d like most….. The opportunity to stay in one of these wonderful cottages would be so much fun, I’m sure we’d love it!

What a charming cottage! I have a friend whose family owns an inn on Tybee and I’ve always wanted to check the area out. Thanks for the chance!
