It’s been 7 years since we went on the beach trip to Tybee Island that was so much fun. Since summer is here, I thought you’d enjoy a peek at Mary Kay Andrews Breeze Inn again. It will get you in the mood for a beach trip for sure. Please note, the giveaway was long ago, this is not a current post!
******************************************

I hope you are not tired of seeing these beach cottages on Tybee Island, because I warned you I took lots of pics.  They are too beautiful not to share!  One of the cottages that our group stayed in on Tybee Island with Mermaid Cottages was The Breeze Inn, another of Mary Kay Andrews beach cottages.  It’s such a beauty with an old style beach feel, just as you’d expect from a 60’s beach resort. That’s the feel some of these cottages have. I love the nostalgia created on Tybee and it truly is a fun getaway.  I can’t wait to go back!

The Breeze Inn. Doesn’t this pic just make you smile?

Inside is a welcoming beach cottage chock full of vintage goodness.

Bookcases filled with books and slipcovered chairs.

The living room is a happy mix of coral, blues, and greens. Those cute vintage shutters make the space so quaint.  Check out those lamps, too cute.

We sure loved gathering in here and seeing all the cottages up close.  The 4 Pike Road, AL ladies stayed in this cottage and they loved it.  I can see why. It’s so charming and adorable.

I would love some time in the sun with my feet in the sand! I am so tired of snow and cold weather.

I love the beach and the cottages, but I’m very fair skinned and can’t stay out all day. So, there’s Savannah. Perfect.

I’ve visited Tybee a hundred times…in my mind. I just live reading and looking at all of the fun to be had there. I can see myself at every location. Thanks so much for the chance. My fingers and toes are crossed!

My husband and I went to Tybee Island for our honeymoon in 2010. We loved it! We took our bikes and went kayaking. Being from Maryland I had never heard of Tybee Island until I started reading Mary Kay Andrews’ wonderful books. We were enchanted by the homeyness and laid-back atmosphere of the island. We’re hoping to go back next year for our fifth anniversary!

    The ocean air.
    The sea food.
    The calm.
    The lack of responsibility.
    The away-ness.

Do I have to choose one!

Oh my, what fun and funky cottages! Love the kitsch, the porchs everything about them! Aw to have the opportunity to relax, unwind and see it all. I am a lover of architechture and water and history. This could quite possibly be my favorite place. What a gift it is you give. This prize can mean the world to the recipient. Bless you!

I love love love the vintage look, color scheme and it looks like a great place to curl up with a MK Andrews novel, so I would have to time my visit with her next book release. Tybee has the beach and nearby Savannah. What’s not to love!

Started reading MK Andrew’s books after seeing her cottage in Better Homes and Gardens a few years back. Tybee Island is now on my bucket list! Sea Breeze Inn is my favorite of all the Mermaid Cottages! I also follow Rhoda’s blog at Southernhospitality. Both amazing women!
