It’s been 7 years since we went on the beach trip to Tybee Island that was so much fun. Since summer is here, I thought you’d enjoy a peek at Mary Kay Andrews Breeze Inn again. It will get you in the mood for a beach trip for sure. Please note, the giveaway was long ago, this is not a current post!
******************************************

I hope you are not tired of seeing these beach cottages on Tybee Island, because I warned you I took lots of pics.  They are too beautiful not to share!  One of the cottages that our group stayed in on Tybee Island with Mermaid Cottages was The Breeze Inn, another of Mary Kay Andrews beach cottages.  It’s such a beauty with an old style beach feel, just as you’d expect from a 60’s beach resort. That’s the feel some of these cottages have. I love the nostalgia created on Tybee and it truly is a fun getaway.  I can’t wait to go back!

The Breeze Inn

The Breeze Inn. Doesn’t this pic just make you smile?

Inside is a welcoming beach cottage chock full of vintage goodness.

breeze inn foyer

Bookcases filled with books and slipcovered chairs.

breeze inn living room

The living room is a happy mix of coral, blues, and greens. Those cute vintage shutters make the space so quaint.  Check out those lamps, too cute.

We sure loved gathering in here and seeing all the cottages up close.  The 4 Pike Road, AL ladies stayed in this cottage and they loved it.  I can see why. It’s so charming and adorable.

I’ve never been to Tybee Island I am sad to say. Even though I’m a Georgia native and have been to Savannah more times than I can count, I somehow never made it over to the island. I’m hoping to change that this year. I would love to do an ecological beach tour.

We fell in love with Savannah a few years ago. I have read Mary Kay’s books and would love to visit Tybee Island to discover for myself why she loves it so much. It seems like the perfect place to just relax and recharge!

My family and I have vacationed on Tybee every summer for the past several years. We love it! I have always wanted to take girlfriends to rent bikes @ Tim’s and ride the island to stalk all the Mermaid Cottages. That’s My favorite thing to do on Tybee. Not so much the husband and the kids:(. SO….I would lOVE a girlfriends getaway to do that…..ending up at Seaside Sisters for shopping, then AJs for sunset dining!! Now. THAT’S a perfect girl beach trip!!!

I love Tybee Island. My sister is wanting to go there for her 50th birthday. If we won a trip, that would be even better.

Looks so charming and relaxing! I’ve been looking for a spot to spend some alone time with my 14 year old daughter and this place looks and sounds perfect. She is an “old soul” and I know she would love this laid-back southern beach town. Oh! how I would love to surprise her with this outing.
