The Breeze Inn on Tybee Island

It’s been 7 years since we went on the beach trip to Tybee Island that was so much fun. Since summer is here, I thought you’d enjoy a peek at Mary Kay Andrews Breeze Inn again. It will get you in the mood for a beach trip for sure. Please note, the giveaway was long ago, this is not a current post!
******************************************

I hope you are not tired of seeing these beach cottages on Tybee Island, because I warned you I took lots of pics.  They are too beautiful not to share!  One of the cottages that our group stayed in on Tybee Island with Mermaid Cottages was The Breeze Inn, another of Mary Kay Andrews beach cottages.  It’s such a beauty with an old style beach feel, just as you’d expect from a 60’s beach resort. That’s the feel some of these cottages have. I love the nostalgia created on Tybee and it truly is a fun getaway.  I can’t wait to go back!

The Breeze Inn

The Breeze Inn. Doesn’t this pic just make you smile?

Inside is a welcoming beach cottage chock full of vintage goodness.

Bookcases filled with books and slipcovered chairs.

breeze inn living room

The living room is a happy mix of coral, blues, and greens. Those cute vintage shutters make the space so quaint.  Check out those lamps, too cute.

We sure loved gathering in here and seeing all the cottages up close.  The 4 Pike Road, AL ladies stayed in this cottage and they loved it.  I can see why. It’s so charming and adorable.

Love everything about Tybee. Theres just something magical about the ocean. Coolest shops around! Small enough to have that ‘small town feel’. Walking and bike friendly. Whats not to love!

Just love the pictures of the Breeze Inn! Just like a wonderful novel, you can get lost in those photos! I would love to stay there and let time just pause for a little while….and enjoy the happiness of beach life on Tybee. Thanks for sharing your photos. Gives our minds a bit of rest just to gaze at them!

The cottage photo’s remind me of my summers on the lake at my Grandmothers house. I know someone in my past had the vintage tablecloth made into those curtains. I wish I could remember who. The cottage looks like a great place to make new memories while remembering the old ones. It looks cleaner than Grandma’s cottage. I think Callahan and Edna sent in the “House Mouse” ladies.

Rhoda: The cottages are so cute. I would love to be close enough to visit family and friends. We moved “up North” a few years ago, and have family just over the sound in Savannah and Richmond Hills. It would be lovely to eat true pralines and soak up the sun.

Oh happy day! Looks to be the right time and place to reconnect with my husband. We are in need of a warm vacation having been trapped in the frigid cold of Vermont!

I would love a beautiful relaxing weekend with my best girlfriends. We’re all busy moms who never get to see each other but we love each other just the same. A trip to Tybee would be AMAZING!

What a great giveaway! And how adorable is that beach house? I have been to Tybee before, but haven’t “vacationed” there since my high school prom ten years ago. I am in the middle of wedding planning, so the last thing we can do right now is afford a vacation. But it sure would be nice to take a break from everything and enjoy a nice, realaxing weekend at the beach with a free place to stay! Not to mention getting to enjoy a charming little cottage and kick off my summer tan. Thanks for the opportunity!
