The Breeze Inn on Tybee Island

It’s been 7 years since we went on the beach trip to Tybee Island that was so much fun. Since summer is here, I thought you’d enjoy a peek at Mary Kay Andrews Breeze Inn again. It will get you in the mood for a beach trip for sure. Please note, the giveaway was long ago, this is not a current post!
******************************************

I hope you are not tired of seeing these beach cottages on Tybee Island, because I warned you I took lots of pics.  They are too beautiful not to share!  One of the cottages that our group stayed in on Tybee Island with Mermaid Cottages was The Breeze Inn, another of Mary Kay Andrews beach cottages.  It’s such a beauty with an old style beach feel, just as you’d expect from a 60’s beach resort. That’s the feel some of these cottages have. I love the nostalgia created on Tybee and it truly is a fun getaway.  I can’t wait to go back!

The Breeze Inn

The Breeze Inn. Doesn’t this pic just make you smile?

Inside is a welcoming beach cottage chock full of vintage goodness.

Bookcases filled with books and slipcovered chairs.

breeze inn living room

The living room is a happy mix of coral, blues, and greens. Those cute vintage shutters make the space so quaint.  Check out those lamps, too cute.

We sure loved gathering in here and seeing all the cottages up close.  The 4 Pike Road, AL ladies stayed in this cottage and they loved it.  I can see why. It’s so charming and adorable.

As a recent transplant from Oregon, I am charmed by the bright and cheery colors of the cottages on Tybee Island. Having lived only 50 miles from the Pacific Ocean, I loved being able to drive to the beach if only for a day. How wonderful it would be to experience two days on the Atlantic Ocean exploring the beauty of the area. Pick me, pick me, pick me. Please! PS Your posts have introduced me to the charms of the South and I will certainly continue to follow your blog. You are a great guide. Many thanks!

I think we’d love how quaint the whole area is. A great beach house is amazing, the beach is amazing, but an interesting area to check out makes it all the more fun! Thanks!

My husband and I wanted to go to Tybee for our honeymoon but couldn’t afford it and I was in school full time.
My parents now live in Chattanooga and our girls have never seen the ocean so this summer we plan on heading down there for a few days.
    This would be PERFECT.
Love this area and your pictures are amazing.

I think that my favorite thing about Tybee Island is how the cute little cottages are decorated with vintage goods. I have never been there and/or Savannah and after reading your blogs this week, I told my husband we soooooo need to go there!

Yes, yes, oh yes please! Tybee is on my bucket list to do. Savannah is a favorite place to visit but never been out to Tybee. I have all of Mary Kay’s books and already feel a connection to everything there. What fun you must have had with all of those wonderful people and my favorite bloggers.
