Christmas on the Screen Porch

I think we’re all ready for some Merry and Bright this year, it’s been a long one and Christmas decorating is going on all over the country right now. I’m working on mine this week, not finished yet but getting there and I can’t wait to share more with you all. I’m joining my best blog friends today and we’re all sharing a space in our homes all decked out for the Christmas Holidays.

I decided to add a little Holiday cheer to our new screened porch and just a few things make it feel special.

I worked with At Home Stores this year on Instagram and a few items were picked up there for adding to the porch, but I had most of this already. I love the red and aqua together. Just by adding a few pops of color, what a difference. A cozy buffalo check throw in black and red adds the comfy factor as well as a couple of Christmas pillows.

I had everything but the pillows and throw and brought it out for this fun photoshoot and love how it turned out.

Faux paperwhites on a tray with a Christmas mug along with red lanterns holding battery candles, it all adds a certain mood to the porch.

Red and aqua is a great combo on the porch, don’t you think?

I hope you enjoyed these ideas and how adding some color and texture to a porch really makes a difference. We sure have enjoyed our porch this year and will be sitting out there on these beautiful sunny days we’ve been having.

Let’s all have a very Merry and Bright Holiday and Christmas season this year! I know I’m more than ready, aren’t you?

Don’t miss my friend’s Christmas spaces below! You will love all the inspiration as we all are decorating for Christmas.

Rhoda, don’t be surprised to find Santa taking a break by sneaking in a nap on your wonderful screened porch! Love the combination of aqua and red and those faux paperwhites are the perfect touch!

Love all your ideas Rhoda … and your beautiful screen porch! I’m concerned though … Santa may settle in under that cozy, plaid throw and forget to visit the rest of us. Ho ho ho … xo
