{Giveaway is Closed}

The winner is:  #94, Lisa Appell!  Congrats, Lisa!

Some things come in small packages and that is the case with a brand new book!

Country Living Little Book of Big Decorating Ideas

I love getting the chance to review these décor books up close and personal and this one is so tiny and cute.  A little square book packed with decorating ideas!  What fun.

The tag line is 287 clever tips, tricks and solutions and they are right.  Each page is numbered with a great idea for decorating, from quirky, to found objects and recyling, there’s an idea for every design enthusiast.

Country Living Big decorating ideas

It’s tiny and square, about 6” square.  From the editors of Country Living, one of our fave magazines, you’ll find tips on hundreds of ideas to tap into your home’s full potential.

Country Living book 2

Pages 68 and 69:  Bathroom ideas and fireplace plans.

Country Living 3

Pages 99 and 100: Birdcages and quirky clothes pins.

Country Living 4

Pages 117 and 118:  Painted stairs and upholstery ideas.

Country Living 5

Pages 216 and 217:  Color ideas for the living room and bedroom.

Country Living 6

Pages 240 and 241:  Framed art and gallery walls.

Country Living 7

And the outdoor areas even got in the book, Pages 230 and 231:  Outdoor planting and fence ideas.

It really is packed with some great pics and you’ll enjoy thumbing through this one. I love adding great décor books to my growing collection for those times that I just want to unplug and sit on the porch with a pretty book in hand.  I don’t always want to be in front of my computer, do you? Winking smile

ONE very lucky reader is also going to get a chance to add Country Living’s Little Book of BIG Decorating Ideas to your collection too!  All you have to do is leave a comment telling me why you love décor books and how much you’ll enjoy this one.

I’ll pick a random winner in a few days!  That’s it!

I truly love Country Living so I know anything from that
magazine will be excellent! I would love to own a copy of this. My neighbors and I share decorating books/magazines-and the funny thing is we all
have different tastes in home décor. But I know all of us
    love Country Living magazine!

My ongoing collection of decorating books let me escape into an
Inspiring world of new ideas for my home and they are so pretty looking themselves that I use them to decorate tables and shelves around my house.

I’m a CL subscriber and also love home decor books. I’d use this particular book for ideas to help rehab and stage my aunt’s home for sale. It would help in our effort bring the home up to date to attract a young family-buyer. We’re looking for lots of big ideas from top to bottom, along with paint, lighting and recovering furniture. Thanks for the great giveaway!

I have a large collection of decorating books and reference them when I am ready for a change in my house. I also share them with friends and family when they are looking for inspiration. This would be a great one to add to my collection!!

I love my collection of CL magazines and home decorating books! I curl up on my sofa with either a cup of coffee or glass of wine (depending on the time of day!) to relax and get inspired for my next decorating project. I would love to win this new little book to add to my collection! Thanks so much for the giveaway!

I love to get ideas from decorating magazines! I usually go through the whole “HGTV” mag when I receive it.

I love decorating books and magazine. It is so nice to see fresh perspectives and new ideas. Country Living is one of my favorite magazines too. I enjoy trying to apply some of the ideas to our farmstead.

Love leafing through decor books and magazines. Just went through a whole stack of magazines, some dating from 2004, and ripped out pages to save.

Oh, I love decor books as they give me such wonderful ideas on how to accessorize and arrange things like bookshelves. While a particular style may not be mine, I can almost always find something to trigger an idea. And I usually pass them on to my mom who loves to read and look through decorating books as well. Thanks for the chance to win, Rhoda!
