Today’s Feature Friday is a repeat from 2013, but Becca has since moved from SC to VA, so I’m also going to add her current home tour here first. You can see the original tour below as well in SC. Becca has a neutral farmhouse style and does it well.

Today’s feature is Becca, a cute girl from South Carolina from Adventures in Decorating, She has a pretty neutral vibe with a farmhouse cottage kind of flair, so enjoy these pics from her VA home.

Becca is a gal who loves decorating and it show in her home, which is absolutely beautiful. She has a strong leaning towards a coastal vibe in her home, so you’ll see plenty of creams and blues, but Becca has a great eye for detail and has created a gorgeous home for her family. I think you’ll enjoy it!
Enjoy her SC home tour as well, all below.
A Carolina girl, Becca has really good taste and executes her home projects well.
She has an airy casual approach with a definite coastal feel in the white slipcovers and neutrals she uses.
Of course, those touches of blue are something that most of us are falling for right now. What a pretty fireplace!
I love this space with the white pieces, so calm and soothing.
And she’s into painted furniture too with this aqua gorgeousness. Take a look at the mirror and lamp, creating a wonderful vignette.
I bet she painted the lamp too, and the seagrass rug looks so coastal and calming.
Her dining room is so wow with that light fixture, huge mirror and those wall shelves. Oh my goodness, how pretty! I love her mixed up chairs with the head chairs being different.
A white painted buffet anchors the dining room.
Their house seems to be a really open floorplan and this peninsula is spacious with all the barstools.
An island is right at home too in this spacious kitchen.
Great job, Becca, this is one beautiful kitchen.
With an eat-in breakfast area too, it’s cozy as well.
The master bedroom continues with some dark and some painted furniture in shades of blues and creams.
Becca has personalized her bathroom with painted pieces and aqua mirrors over the white painted vanity. Gorgeous !
Her little boy’s room is all boy.
And his bathroom has a nautical feel tool.
Love that whale and hooks and board and batten complete the look.
The laundry room is super pretty with beadboard and a soothing green above. The stylish light fixture doesn’t hurt either.
And don’t forget the screened porch, how gorgeous is this space? Yumminess to the max.
They even have an outdoor pergola with bar and seating, perfect for a backyard party.
Becca, thanks for letting us stop by your SC home, it’s pure beauty and I love how you’ve put it all together. Hope you’ll all stop over and stay hello to Becca too, she’s a sweet gal.

Thanks for sharing Becca’s blog! I need to check her site for her furniture painting techniques, since she has so many beautiful painted pieces.
Rhoda, a question prompted by the posting of your favorite room (kitchen) pics at the Savvy Southern Style site: Have you ever done an entry on how items are stored in those deep Ikea kitchen drawers? It is so tempting to take out the base cabinets in my kitchen and install drawers, but I’m curious how things store in them. Thanks!
Rhoda says
Hi, Rebecca, yes I have done a post about the drawers and showed all 4 of them and how I’m using them. I have all my cookware in one, baking dishes in one, plastic storage in one and just general plastic pieces in another. I have all of them full & they are awesome for storage. No more digging in the back of a deep cabinet.

Rhoda: Thanks so much! I remember that post now. LOVE those pull out drawers- you get such a better use of space than what is in available in traditional base cabinets.

Thanks for showing us Becca’s home. I don’t have much time for blogs these days so I have to be choosy about which I pick to spend some time with and interestingly, but not surprisingly, I come back to yours. One I found so long ago when I first started blogging (back when I did blog). It’s getting real for us to make our move to TN. We have to get our house prepped and staged over winter break and also fit in a visit to the Nashville area again to re-look over neighborhoods. I’ve been looking at listings in the area and am falling back in love with decorating and really really appreciate all you do to keep us posted on great decorating! And since I’ll be moving to the South (TN, is that considered the South? Well it’s south of Northern IL!), I need to get myself updated on what’s trendy in Southern decoration. 😉 And I can’t wait to buy some cowboy boots that are JUST starting to become sort of trendy here, but I’m sure are trendy in Nashville.
Rhoda says
Hey, Kristi, I know you have been around for a long time, reading & commenting. Thank you for that!! I know you are going to love Nashville, it’s a very stylish and fun and VERY Southern city. I love it there and could definitely see why people choose to live there. Have fun with house hunting and decorating. You’ll have a blast! Yes, you have to get some cowboy boots. I love mine too.
Becky in 'Bama says
I’m confused, Which pics are from her newest home? Your first two sentences say you are adding “her current home tour first here. You can also see her SC home below here first.” So which ‘first’ pics are the new? Both are pretty = but I’m not clear on which is which. Sorry, Rhoda. I love to see new bloggers.
Rhoda says
Hi, Becky the first pics are her house in VA and then I say see her old house below in SC.
