I love to see young couples making their homes so personalized, just by jumping in and DIYing things themselves.  That is such the innovative way to create the home of your dreams.

Dream Book Design couple Hence, Dream Book Design, a young couple of newlyweds, Adri and Jeremy.  They have done a fantastic job of doing just that.

card catalog before

I remember seeing this fantastic project floating around blogland, but it is worth seeing again.  They took a set of card catalogs from an old library.

And turned it into this beauty of a sideboard.  You can be sure no one else will have one just like it!

drafting table base

A vintage drafting table became their dining table.

Look how glamorous it is now!

kitchen dining

Great shot of the dining room looking into the fabulous kitchen.

kitchen

They completely rebuilt the kitchen from scratch, along with the brick wall which adds so much character.

farmhouse sink

Lovely, simple white farmhouse sink and white cabinets.

laundry room

The renovated their laundryroom and made their own sink skirt.  Gorgeous!

bedroom headboard

Built their own padded headboard, covered the cushions and lampshades for a unique look.

old doors

One of my favorite things they did was turn these $5 vintage doors into custom doors for their home.

And now they have these beauties!  Can you stand the pretty?

tripod lamp

One more DIY project, they turned a real tripod into a beautiful and functional lamp.  I love this!

So, please stop by and introduce yourself to Adri at Dream Book Design and tell her what a beautiful job she and her hubby did with their house.  It is well deserved!
