Feature Friday: French House

A beautiful French inspired home was featured at Traditional Home and I couldn’t help but share this eye candy.

A couple from Bethesda, MD got their inspiration from homes in the countryside of France and Italy. No better place to be inspired.

I’ll keep quiet and let you do some looking (and drooling).

Beautiful!  For more info, click on that Traditional Home link at the top.

Hope you enjoyed this inspiring tour of a beautifully appointed home.  I sure did!

oh how glorious! I was trying to narrow it down to one room that i just really loved but I couldn’t every room was just too beautiful! although that staircase made me gasp a little for some air.

Beautiful…and it looks sunny and warm there (can you tell I am so over the dreary, cold, wet?)

Just what I needed after an hour and a half of shuffling out my car!! Thank you for this visual feast — and now aqua fabric for the back of my china cabinet is on my must lust! (That was supposed to be “list” but my iPhone made an interesting substitution, eh?)

I just want to lay down on that living room couch and take a nap in front of the fire! 🙂

Oh what an absolutely beautiful home! I love the interior and exterior but those beams are what really stand out. The rooms just glow and welcome you in. I could be right at home there couldn’t you? 🙂

Thanks Rhoda for the tour. Loved it!

I love this! It’s so beautiful, stylish and yet comfortable for a family. I’ve read your previous blogs. I’m so sorry to hear of your family problems and hope you can work your way through them with prayer, family and friends. You were my second blog (after Pioneer Woman) and the one I read every day that you posted. I’m a southerner too-and love you. God Bless You!

Oooops! Should have mentioned that my favorite sconces are over the mantle in the 1st photo (library or living room?)… didn’t mean to confuse anyone with the OTHER sconces!

I remember this house! The breakfast area was in another magazine a year or so before the TH issue came out. I carried around the picture of that window as inspiration for our house while we were building. It was so nice to see the rest of the house!

    Praying for you,
    Tee
