Happy Friday to you all! Another Fall weekend is upon us. Mark and I are headed out to look at bathroom tile tomorrow and I’ll keep you posted on what we are up to in the master bathroom as soon as I can.
Today’s Feature Friday is a new friend here in Atlanta, Robin LaMonte. I met Robin a few years ago at one of the designer showhouses. She had designed the kitchen and I was there taking pics for my blog. We connected again this year and I found out she started a new blog conference for women bloggers and influencers call the Influencers of Midlife summit. I didn’t make it this year, but will be speaking and helping out next year in March. I’m excited that Robin launched this conference tailor made for midlife and older women, really anyone over 40 who is trying to start a blog or launch websites and podcasts, whatever you’re up to these days in this online world. I think it’s going to be a great conference to connect with others and get plugged in, so I hope you’ll check it out and come join us in March here in Atlanta. It’s going to be fun! Robin and I happen to be born the same year too!
Anyway, Robin is also an Interior Designer and is doing a room in the current Holiday House here in Atlanta and I can’t wait to see that house next week on the preview day. Robin also blogs at Hello I’m 50ish and I hope you’ll go over and check out her blog and the conference page.
I’m happy to share her Marietta home with you today. This is the backyard view of the back of the house and pool. Robin has a classic and modern style and I think you’ll enjoy her house today.
Love her pool area.
And this outdoor patio space.
Robin’s style is modern, yet classic and her colors exude warmth.
I hope you enjoyed this tour of Robin’s pretty home and please go over and visit her blog and the Midlife website. There’s a lot going on and Robin is a great lady to know!
Have a great weekend!

What a lovely home! While it certainly is beautiful, it is reading sterile to me, that is not meant as a criticism but rather an observation based on the enviable lack of clutter/detritus of everyday life most of us live with every day. I realize the “house showing” was for photographs however I suspect that given her profession (I just subscribed to her blog!) that 98% of the time her home is this polished. Ladies, every once in a while I’d like to see photos of a throw left on a chair in a heap (read not styled and arranged to perfection), shoes kicked off next to that same chair, a book left open on the side table and a partially finished cup of tea resting beside it waiting to be finished as soon as the next chapter is started. A little reality would be well received…

Being that Robin is in the interior design business, I’m sure these photos were done professionally and thus, everything is picture perfect. Most of us have clutter, at least I do and my pictures are not always picture perfect, so you’ll find plenty of reality out there.

Michelle,
I have to admit, my home looks like this every day except currently, I have Christmas decorations laid out in each room. If you popped over this week you would truly enjoy my organized chaos! Lots of boxes everywhere!
Cheers,
Robin

I am so glad to see a blogger who loves warm tones. I am in the process of decluttering my life and home. My mother-in-law’s home was always clutter free, as she always had a place for everything. It can be done with a little practice. She even had empty drawer space after we had the whole house painted and helping her sort through things she threw anything away that did not have a purpose. I will be a subscriber of your blog.
