It’s been 9 years since I featured Kim from Savvy Southern Style here on the blog. Her house has changed a lot since then, so today I’m doing a fresh feature! Kim is not blogging anymore but you can find her still on Instagram at Savvy Southern Style and her blog is still up for perusal.
***************************
Another Southern belle living in Atlanta is my guest today for Feature Friday, Kim from Savvy Southern Style. I know many of you know her already, but I thought it would be fun to highlight her beautiful home in North Atlanta. It truly is a dream home, from my estimation and she and her hubby built the house themselves back in the mid-90’s. It is a classic style and Kim is a very talented decorator and her home is a beautiful combination of traditional and French Country style.
Enjoy the tour!
It’s a beautiful traditional home on the outside and has such curb appeal. Kim and her hubby have worked hard on their home and it is evident.
Inside is equally as stunning, this is the living room.
Kim has a great eye for antiques and has many pieces around her house, as well as vintage accessories.
I know Kim changed her main paint color to a lighter shade and this is the new one.
Her kitchen is equally stunning, open with a French Country vibe and another update was done last year with the counters and backsplash.
Breakfast area with table and chairs.
Love this shot of the dining room, so pretty and that’s her cute dog, Bailey.
And her sunroom is the envy of everyone, I think. She changes it up for the seasons.
Her master bedroom feels so luxurious and calming.
And the master bath is beautiful with the updates she did a few years ago.
One of the Guest rooms.
Kim changes out her bedding often, so this is the current version of the same bedroom.
Another guest room with shiplap.
Another version of the same bedroom.
Bonus room
Kim does a great job with her house and if you haven’t stopped by yet, don’t miss out! She’s a great source of inspiration on her Instagram page.
I hope you enjoyed this new and fresh tour of Kim’s house. It’s one of my favorite houses out there and I love her mix of Traditional, Classic and French Country design.
I have always loved Kim’s home, she has such great taste! I especially love her sunroom and how she can so easily change things up in there. And congrats on the feature in Cottages and Bungalows Kim!
One of the nicest homes I have ever seen. Beautiful. Her style is impressive.
Absolutely gorgeous!!! Warm and cozy, classic and Southern. Love her style. Would love to see what she does for Christmas.
I Love Kim’s home…it is indeed warm and cozy….I love her Southern Style 🙂
Rhoda,
Kim’s home is truly beautiful. The exterior is exquisite and Kim decorates wonderfully. Her entire home is just stunning, while staying warm & inviting!
Man I dearly love her decorating style! Everything looks sooooo nice!
I have been following along with Kim since before her blog and in the RMS days! Her style and her ability to accessorize is what caught my eye immediately. She has been a wonderful blogger friend and I can’t say enough good things about her. Her home is beautiful and she always keeps us entertained! Glad to see her featured!
I always love seeing Kim’s gorgeous home! She truly does have a gift when it comes to decorating and repurposing furniture. Her sunroom is my favorite space, and I love how she switches it out for the seasons.
Hi Rhoda!!!

I remember finding Kim’s blog when she linked something to MMS’s Furniture Friday- I was immediately attracted to her style! I love how she mixes the antique finds & lovely fabrics.
I would love to visit some of the wonderful antique shops in & near Atlanta!
Kim’s home is beautiful. Each room is magazine photo worthy.
The property is beautiful and she and her husband just finished a green house. Fun IG account to follow.
Thanks Rhoda, for featuring Kim and her beautiful home!
I’d wondered whether she was still blogging or not..
Now that i know where to find her, I’ll start following her again!
Thank you Rhoda for the feature again! I can’t believe it has been nine years!!
What is the color of your exterior stucco please? Beautiful home🥰
HI, Lynne, if Kim doesn’t come back here she might not see your comment, can you go and ask her on Instagram. Link is in the post.
I have been following Kim for many years now and love seeing how she and her husband have transformed and updated their beautiful home over the years. She has a great eye for decor and decorating. I think her bathroom renovation was one of the most beautiful I have seen on any blog. Although she no longer blogs, I follow her on instagram now. She and her husband recently added a charming greenhouse to their property that wasn’t included in the pics. I hope you will feature Kim’s sister Kelly’s beautiful new modern farmhouse home sometime as well who also blogs.
I loved Kim’s blog and hate that she’s not blogging anymore. I’m not on instagram and miss seeing her beautiful home. Thanks for the update. Your house and hers are my favorites.
I’ve missed Bailey!!
MISSED IT THE FIRST GO AROUND AND I LOVE HER HOME. SHE HAS A GREAT EYE FOR DECORATING! ONE OF THE FAVORITES.
I love the coffee ottoman in the Sun room!
Thank you
Deborah
I love Kim’s home and especially the art work and how she displays her antiques. I usually look at her instagram account weekly. Also love her dog! Her home is so tasteful, which I had her gift.
Thanks for featuring Kim’s house! I had wondered what happened to her blog and didn’t think to look elsewhere.
