Feature Friday: The Pink Clutch

Today’s Feature Friday is a long time blogger too, Paige from The Pink Clutch. She’s been blogging as long as I have and she also lives here in Atlanta. If you love color and pattern, you will love Paige’s house, it’s a colorful mix of Palm Beach and Lilly  Pulitzer, modern and glam and super colorful and patterned. It might not be for everyone, but it expresses Paige’s style and what she loves. She’s from Florida but moved to Atlanta back in the 90’s, got married and has raised her three children here in metro Atlanta. Enjoy the tour of her home!

Paige’s home is a traditional red brick in the suburbs of Atlanta. She’s participated in several One Room Challenges, which if you don’t know what those are, a person named Linda put this together several years ago and invites a group of main designers/bloggers to participate on making over a room in 6 weeks. They all share each week on their blogs until the finale is revealed 6 weeks later. Then other regular people can join in as participants and do the same thing to a room, all linking up 6 weeks later for the big reveals. I’ve never done a One Room Challenge, but it looks like fun and a good way to get things done apparently!

Paige’s colorful entry foyer. Her walls were hand painted by a family friend. Another bathroom has hand painted walls as well. She has a very talented friend!

Here’s the bathroom with hand painted walls too. I do love what her friend did!

Two things that Paige and I share is definitely a love of color and a love of bamboo/rattan. She’s even more colorful than I am, but I love her fearless use of color and pattern. She’s not afraid to mix it all! I hope you enjoyed this tour of Paige’s home, it’s definitely not neutral like is such the trend these day.

Have a great weekend! I’ll be back on Monday with my last post from the cruise. It’s been fun sharing and I’m so glad you all have enjoyed our trip!

Love this home and her bold use of color. Also love the painted walls. She does have a very talented artist friend! I love color and pattern even though I know neutrals are what most people do. Kudos to her for being an individualist!

okay… is she friends with Jennifer Griffin of “Dimples and Tangles?” Same style; same color pallet; same decorative items; same pillows- on and on – right down to picture frames , blue and white porcelain and painted bookcases. Mirror blogs

They do have similar taste & have been in blog hops together, but they’ve both been doing their own thing for years!

How happy and colorful….everything just works together so well! I’m so much more conservative with color ( because I think this look is not so easy to achieve so I really appreciate what she has done) but so enjoyed seeing this lovely home!

Gee, and I call my home “Rainbow House” ! This is truly a rainbow of energizing hues. How could you not be happy in these rooms? I love it all! Those hand painted rooms are to die for! And I, too, love the back porch blue-painted floor! I hope Paige and her family enjoy this house as much as we did! Thanks for sharing this one, Rhoda!

HI, Traci, thanks for stopping by. That was a feature of Paige at The Pink Clutch, so you’ll need to go to her blog and ask there.

Yes, Becky from ‘Bama I immediately thought of Jennifer Griffin from Dimples and Tangles too when viewing this home. I love the colorfulness and try to incorporate same in my home. Some aspects can be a little beyond my comfort zone, though overall I LOVE WHAT HAS BEEN ACHIEVED!! Thanks Rhoda for sharing this delightfully decorated home!! Would love to see more like this!! =)
