Some of you have been having problems getting my email subscriptions and I think I have it fixed now. Apparently some mail accounts changed some settings and wouldn’t let feeds go out with a personal email attached, so I changed it to my blog email address (which I have through my host service) and I hope all is well now. So, let me know if you get this by email as I hope this takes care of the problem.
Meet another delightful blog, Jennifer with Town and Country Living. Her tag line is “where the streets of town meet the country road” and her adorable 1875 Victorian cottage is a mix of farmhouse and shabby chic. Lots of fun things going on in Jennifer’s home and I think you’ll enjoy seeing how she put her house together. It’s quaint, cozy and cute, so enjoy the tour!
Painted a soft yellow, Jennifer’s Victorian is so charming and has lots of curb appeal.
Love the door and the cat, what a cozy spot to sit and swing.
Window boxes full of impatiens, one of my fave flowers.
Entryway welcomes guests.
Living room in neutrals of beige, white and blue.
Doesn’t this feel so welcoming?
The farmhouse kitchen looks like some great meals would be served up here.
I love her country farmhouse mix of elements.
Cozy and quaint kitchen.
Dining room with a pretty white painted table and chairs, hutch and china cabinet.
Light and airy comes to mind.
Family room with a few rustic elements mixed into the neutrals.
Very inviting
Older homes just have a charm that can’t be duplicated.
Jennifer painted that cute fleur de lis on her clawfoot tub and you can find out lots more information at Jennifer’s home tour, so stop on over and stay hello to her. I hope you enjoyed this cozy and quaint farmhouse tour of Town and Country Living. I loved it!

I love your blog and have been getting it for years. I still am not getting it,even after your post today. It has been several weeks since it came through on email.
It is not just yours it is Savvy Southern Style,Miss Mustard Seed,Housepatality Designs,Sophias Decor, and maybe a couple more.
I especially love yours because of your faith and all you have been through.
I hope you can do something. I first noticed a problem back in dec. with Housepatality Designs.I let Shirley know but nothing was resolved.I thought maybe it was just me. Now it’s all of you.
Thanks for your wonderful blog!Hope someone can resolve this soon.
Rhoda says
OH, Linda, I thought I had it fixed, but maybe not for everyone. THanks for letting me know. I really don’t know what else to do at this point.
Kim says
I was having the same problem in the last few weeks. I went from receiving over 80 new blog posts via e-mail to 20 or less. Just on a whim I set up a gmail account (had ymail) and resubscribed using gmail to a few I wasn’t receiving. It worked! I’m in the process of gravitating all my e-mails to my new gmail account. I know this solution isn’t for everyone and is a pain, but I can’t stand not receiving updates from my bloggy friends!
Rhoda says
HI, Kim, thanks for sharing that. I really thought changing my email “from” would do the trick, but apparently not.
Julie T says
Thank for you explaining the work around Kim. I stopped receiving my favorite blogs a few weeks ago also and wondered what had happened. I just redirected the blogs to my gmail and it appears to be working.

What a delightful cottage, it is like a little farmhouse inside. I love the blue of the walls, such a pretty, soft, restful shade.
I love the idea of featuring bloggers homes, Once I have finished my bedroom and kitchen, would it be possible to feature mine on your blog by any chance? I do have a way to go though but by the end of this year it should all be looking much the way I want it too.
Lee 🙂
