Happy April 1st! I don’t have any jokes around here, but it’s been an exciting week at our house. Last Friday the pool dig started and they have been steadily working on it. I’ll share a complete update this weekend! In the meantime, thanks for stopping by this Friday and I hope you enjoy these shares today. Lots of fun inspiration for you!
Feature Friday
Here’s a Feature Friday I did back in 2015, Rachel with Maison de Pax. Her home is so pretty and I’m sure she has lots of updates since this feature, but it’s worth another look. That link above takes you to her tour here on my blog and you can also visit her blog at Maison de Pax for new updates.
Instagram Inspiration
Loving Lindsay Speace Interior design feed. These designers really have some gorgeous projects.
Society Social is a shop, but they sure have some beautiful things in their feed as well. They make furniture and sell lots of decor items and it looks like they are to the trade only. Not inexpensive, but beautiful things.
Kelly with Trophy Wife Life has lots of things I love in her feed, from bold wallpaper to rattan and wicker furniture. Her page says vintage Florida interiors.
Recipes
These zucchini sticks from Hungry Happens look SO delicious! Mark might even like vegetables like this so I’m going to have to try this method. You can find the whole recipe on her blog from Instagram.
This chopped Thai-inspired chicken salad from Pinch of Yum looks all kinds of delicious! It has a few steps so I don’t know if I’ll try it or not, but it sure looks good.
My friend, Michael from Inspired by Charm shared this Cream Puff Cake and it looks delicious too. With instant vanilla pudding and Cool Whip, it’s a pretty easy recipe to whip up. He’s got a post of 15 Fabulous Spring Desserts and this is one of them.
Around the House
Here’s that Target trashcan with lid that I shared last week. I got it in and love it in our guest bathroom!
I’ve got outdoors on the brain right now. With our pool going in, I can’t wait to see how it’s all going to look out there. We won’t need a lot of new things but I did buy a couple of simple black and white chaise lounge chairs from At Home recently. I will see what else we need to get after the pool is finished. But I found a few things that caught my eye, most of these are not pricey and good buys for the money. My sister bought bistro chairs for her outdoor porch dining area and these are really popular now. I think I may change out some of my curtain rods for these gold ones from Target eventually. They are out of the longer length right now, but I really like them. That glass cabinet from Target is really pretty too, I can see it in a bathroom. And that rattan daybed is really nice too and I’ve always admired it.

What We’re Watching
We tend to jump from series to series and movies as well. This week we are watching The Girl From Plainville, based on a true story about teen suicide, a very sad subject but interesting dynamics. We started it, but new episodes are coming out later so we will finish it up as they are released.
Happy Friday! Quick question – the blinds in that first picture – are they rattan? Or what material are they made of? I’ve been meaning to swap out the annoying shades in our master bedroom and those would be perfect.
Those look like rattan/bamboo shades. I have them in our house on many of our windows and love them.
