Happy Friday to you all! It’s been a whirlwind week around here, with the sod in the backyard going in a week ago, we’ve had plenty of things to finish up back there, so we can finally relax and enjoy that pool. We’ve gotten plenty of rain this week, so that’s been good. I got most of my plants back in the ground as well as my summer planters planted by the pool this week, so I’m finally ready to share the pool with you all. Stay tuned for that on Sunday!
Enjoy Friday Favorites today, I hope you get inspiration from this series I share every week. It’s just little snippets of things I see around the web during the week.
Feature Friday
Here’s a cute house I shared awhile ago, Starfish Cottage. It’s perfect for summer shares, so enjoy seeing it again. And here’s a current post at her blog, all in blue and white, so definitely check that out. She’s still blogging and I just clicked over and found her adoption story. She adopted little Victor at age 4 (he’s now about 10) and reading her Adoption stories Part 1 & 2 and the update was so heart warming.
Instagram Inspiration
Another stylish designer, Susan L. Rose Design, so pretty and fresh!
I’ve shared how much I love stylist/designer Heather Chadduck and here’s another beautiful beach house bunkroom space of hers. Just gorgeous!
Recipes
Now here’s a twist on the Caprese salad, this fresh peach and mozzarella caprese salad looks delish, from Peggy Britain on Instagram (Hi, Peggy!)!
Around the House
Since I’ve shared so much this week on home products, I don’t have a lot to share, but I did score this little outdoor table on the Amazon Prime sale for our backyard. Affiliate links used:

What We’re Watching
I’m watching a new show someone suggested from PBS, Hotel Portofino. Set in Italy in 1926, it is a visually beautiful backdrop, which is definitely worth watching. Some compared it to Downton Abbey and maybe it has some of the same vibes since the time period is similar, but so far I’m really enjoying it. There’s a large cast of characters to keep up with. The show is on Amazon and I had to pay 99 cents a month to watch it for the next couple months, then I’ll unsubscribe. I’m not sure why it was an upcharge on Amazon Prime, since we already have that, but it was.

I love Hotel Portofino as well! If you get your local PBS station you can watch for free. You might also enjoy Sanditon seasons 1 and 2.

You are so welcome, Kristy, I really enjoyed your adoption story and had not seen it before. I would love to see an update on Victor, so hope you’ll do one sometime.

Happy Friday! I’ve been following Kristy and her family over at Starfish Cottage for several years now. Her design advice is always so helpful.
Have not seen or heard of Hotel Portofino — thanks for the tip!
