Homer Laughlin Fiesta Dinnerware Giveaway

(Giveaway is Closed)

Last month at the International Home & Housewares Show, the Homer Laughlin China Company launched several new products for its 2010 lineup. A nearly 135-year old company, Homer Laughlin takes such pride that its products are Made in the USA, employing more than 850 people in Newell, WV.

I love supporting Made in the USA companies, so I am happy to do a giveaway for this old and established company.  I have admired Homer Laughlin china patterns in the antique malls for years and love how it wears and wears.  I own a few pieces myself.

They sent me 2 items to use and enjoy for myself and they are giving away one of EACH of these today to 2 of my readers.

First up is this beautiful 75th anniversary piece for 2010, a set of prep or mixing bowl in a vibrant and vivid limited availability color of Marigold. I received my set and it will be a pleasure to use this in my kitchen.

Next, is a the latest place setting of  Fiesta dinnerware in the lovely color of Paprika, a deep burnt orange and the winner will receive a one piece place setting.

I’d  like to know if you own any Fiesta dinnerware?  It’s highly collectible and this company has been around a long time, so chances are you have something in your collection by Homer Laughlin China Company.

Just leave a comment and I’ll draw 2 winners, one for the prep bowl set and one for the place setting.

One day I hope to snag some for myself!
I guess I should put that on a Christmas Wish list…lol.

Winning this would totally make my day!

Hi Rhoda! I love this giveaway & hope I win! I have dark blue fiesta dinner plates that we use for the 4th of July, but my most treasured fiestaware are pieces that my Grandmother had & used when I was a child. Breakfast was always served on pale yellow plates – they were smaller than dinner plates so I guess they were salad plates, but to me they were the breakfast plates. Homemade biscuits, bacon & eggs were even tastier served up on those yellow plates. For some reason my biscuits never are quite so good – hahaha! “Mamaw” was such a great cook and such a lovely woman. Thanks for this drawing which brought back precious memories for me.

LOVE those mixing bowls – there’s just something about mixing bowls that are so comforting to me. Before moving to OH, I ran a small antique shop in a very small town, and a lot of Homer Laughlin products have passed through my hands. Beautiful stuff.

While I don’t own any Fiesta dinnerware, I have always admired it. Paprika and Marigold are such pretty colors.

I have 8 place settings in 2 different colors and some yellow plates. I also have the gravy boat and some of the bakeware pieces. I found all of mine at a garage sale several years ago for $40.00. I was thrilled!!! I love the new colors – the bowls are beautiful!!! I love the new colors, maybe you can get me started on them!

These are beautiful! The mixing bowls remind me (in shape) of some bowls my grandmother had as I was growing up. Sweet memories. Although I don’t own any Fiesta Dinnerware, maybe you’ll get me started on my own collection!

I have about 130 pieces of mostly vintage fiesta and my collection pales in comparison to my step Moms. She has easily 400 pieces and about the same of bakelite flateware. I usually just like the old stuff but those bowls are really cute.
