Homer Laughlin Fiesta Dinnerware Giveaway

(Giveaway is Closed)

Last month at the International Home & Housewares Show, the Homer Laughlin China Company launched several new products for its 2010 lineup. A nearly 135-year old company, Homer Laughlin takes such pride that its products are Made in the USA, employing more than 850 people in Newell, WV.

I love supporting Made in the USA companies, so I am happy to do a giveaway for this old and established company.  I have admired Homer Laughlin china patterns in the antique malls for years and love how it wears and wears.  I own a few pieces myself.

They sent me 2 items to use and enjoy for myself and they are giving away one of EACH of these today to 2 of my readers.

First up is this beautiful 75th anniversary piece for 2010, a set of prep or mixing bowl in a vibrant and vivid limited availability color of Marigold. I received my set and it will be a pleasure to use this in my kitchen.

Next, is a the latest place setting of  Fiesta dinnerware in the lovely color of Paprika, a deep burnt orange and the winner will receive a one piece place setting.

I’d  like to know if you own any Fiesta dinnerware?  It’s highly collectible and this company has been around a long time, so chances are you have something in your collection by Homer Laughlin China Company.

Just leave a comment and I’ll draw 2 winners, one for the prep bowl set and one for the place setting.

I’m not a Fiesta owner … but it makes me smile whenever I see it! The perfect mix of classy and bright.

Thanks for bringing these Homer Laughlin pieces to my attention–I’ll definitely be checking them out further!

I love Fiesta but didn’t start collecting until three years ago. I also love to find old Homer Laughlin pieces when I thrift.

I don’t own any, but I love it. The colors always catch my eye, and then I can never decide what color I want to purchase!

I use my Fiesta everyday and absolutely love it. I have a pretty big collection in all different colors but I don’t have Paprika. I’ve been collecting for about 8 years and have a few pieces of discontinued colors that I covet. Thanks for hosting such a great giveaway. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for luck.

I have one old yellow fiesta ware bowl. I just love it. It was from the estate of an old family friend. Makes me think of her everytime I use it. Love the blog Rhoda.

I love Fiesta but the only piece I have is a tiny replica of a drinking pitcher – purchased at a yard sale 🙁 Would love to win something to start a collection! Thanks for the opportunity to participate with the give-away. May you have the best week-end ever. I’m headed to the Great American Pie Festival! Yum! So much fun (and all you can eat Pie!) Fun times ahead!

Many years ago, I walked into a tiny thrift shop and spotted a round pitcher in mustard that I loved. I had no idea what Fiesta was back then. It had no price so I asked…the clerk casually said “how about $3 dollars?” I said “uhhhh, ok” and I have treasured it for years. I love good finds and I love bowls. My motto “you can never have too many bowls”…and I never have the right one. I’d love to win!

I do have a six place setting of white Fiesta. I like the new colors very much, and they would certainly add some color to my white. Francis C. Moore

I have a few pieces of Homer Laughlin that I have found over the years yardsaling! I just picked up the cutest cream scalloped serving bowl at Goodwill this week!

I LOVE the new paprika color! I do not have any Fiesta dinnerware now. I remember when I was a young working girl, and the time came for me to get my first apartment. I saved up green stamps – does anyone remember those? – and got my first set of dishes! I believe it was one book of green stamps in exchange for a set of Homer Laughlin dishes. I don’t remember the name of the pattern, but I remember it had a pattern of leaves in autumnal colors. I will have to look it up and see if I can find the pattern. I was so proud of those dishes!

I don’t have any of the place settings, but have some other Homer Laughlin pieces. I would love to add these to my collections. Thanks.

I love Fiesta and have probably 12 or 14 place settings of various colors. Henderson, TN has an outlet and I love stopping by there. They have pieces you won’t normally find in a retail store. I think the red is my favorite, and I’ve started a few place settings in the square pattern. Hope I win this giveaway.
