The way I add some flavor to my life these days is by yardsale and thriftstore shopping. It is always the thrill of the hunt, chasing down bargains and having a mental list that I go through while out scouring the sales. Usually I find the items on my wishlist, if I wait long enough.
Before I leave for one of these early morning treasure hunts, I grab myself a to-go cup of coffee and flavor it up just right for me.
How do you like your coffee?
I’ll admit, I have not always been a coffee drinker, so it surprises me sometimes just how much I enjoy that one cup of coffee I have each and every morning. My hubby gets up and grinds the beans and makes a full pot of coffee every morning and when I get up, the first thing I do is go in the kitchen and make myself a nice, sweet cup of java.
No plain cup of coffee for me, it must have flavor and LOTS of sweet. I’ll take a little coffee with my creamer, please. 🙂 I rely on Coffee-mate flavors to give some extra sweetness and mellow flavor to my coffee and that completely takes out the bitterness that coffee sometimes has for me. These are 2 of my fave recent flavors that I picked up to use, French Vanilla and Italian Sweet Creme. Anything creamy or vanilla-y is good for me.

I need my coffee everyday and I always sweeten it with 2 packs of Splenda. That stuff changed my life.

My BFF just went to Hawaii and brought me a pound of Kona beans! Whoo-hooo!!!! I grind enough for a pot each morning (which I usually have to share with my 4 y/o and 6y/o…seriously!). We all like our joe with Coffeemate’s Sweet Italian Creme, while my 2 y/o likes the creamer in his chocolate milk…or straight out of the bottle! 🙂 I am so glad that CoffeeMate does the Sweet Italian Creme in the 32oz size now!!!
I get up very early so I start my date with a hot cup of coffee with coffee-mate hazelnut creamer. It just starts my morning a little brighter!
i prefer not to drink coffee unless i have sugar free hazelnut and one pink packet. 🙂 my FAVE is when i mix that with the coffee shop K-cup for my keurig!!! YUM.
I’m not a coffee drinker. The flavor and spice in MY life comes from arguments with my husband. No, not fighting, I mean debating. We love to discuss issues and current affairs, and we love it when we get each other to see sides to the debate that they haven’t seen before, and point out errors in each other’s reasoning. Our conversations stimulate each other’s minds, not (just) bodies! And when things get a bit overheated, making up afterwards is twice as sweet 🙂

As I sit here drinking a cup of coffee with the Italian sweet cream creamer I just discovered, I thought…..”hey! I love that stuff!” It is my new favorite.

I’m a big coffee drinker and I love mine with Hazelnut flavoring.
I add flavor to my life by wearing funky socks. Each day, I wear my business casual attire, but with my funky socks. 🙂 My co-workers almost never see them and I feel great knowing that I’m breaking free from the “normal” mode…even if no one sees it.
My favorite styles of socks? Argyles, stripes, and polka dots. 🙂
Now my coffee? Well, it’s much more creamer than coffee…so I guess I like my creamer with a splash of coffee. It’s not exactly healthy so these days I drink more hot tea than anything else. 🙂
Mocha is my go-to. Chocolate is my weakness, what can I say. As for flavoring my life in other ways, I love to try new things. Variety is the spice of life!
Hubby is the coffee maniac in our house. It adds flavor to our life because it allows us to interact… otherwise he’d still be sleeping when he returned home every evening. 1prizewinner(at)gmail(dot)com
