Zatarain’s Cajun Cooking Food Giveaway

(Giveaway is Closed)

Those fine folks at Zatarain’s are always coming up with some tasty dishes.  I’ve been cooking their rice dishes for years now and always enjoy them.   They recently sent me a package of goodies for my very own to savor and taste and you know I will enjoy that.

From Jambalaya mix

To Red Beans and Rice dip and Creole mustard (love this stuff!), you will love this package.

Here are a few recipes to share too, like King Cake cupcakes, just in case you are celebrating Mardi Gras this year.

Zatarain’s wants to give one of YOU a food package too (valued around $40), so all you have to do is leave a comment, telling me if you have tried Zatarain’s products and do you love them as much as I do?  These are a few of the items you’ll receive straight from Zatarain’s.

Check out Chef John Besh’s video for some extra fun Creole cooking ideas too!

Do tell?!

Love this contest and love Zatarain’s products too. I’ve been using them for years and years, ever since I was introduced to them by my brother who went to school in N’awlins. I’ve used the rice mixes, etouffee, crab boil, condiments, you name it. Their products spiff up a weeknight dinner, but a Mardi Gras party wouldn’t be complete without Zatarain’s.

Oh yea, we love Zatarain’s products. We’ve always used their Dirty Rice and Jambalaya mixes, and when they had their specials at Publix a few weeks ago, we tried the Carribean yellow rice mix. It’s now one of our favorites flavors. We currently have about 10 boxes of Z’s in our pantry.

I have tried several of the Zatarain’s products and I love them. I was just looking at their website and noticed the crab cake and salmon cake mix. I haven’t tried those yet, but will be sure to look for them on my next trip to the supermarket.

My entire family, including my little girls, LOVE Zatarain’s! Our favorite is the Red Beans and Rice which we serve as a main dish. Just add shrimp or sausage or even both! We like it a little extra spicy and often a few shots of our red pepper sauce and it is one of favorite meals. I live in Michigan and this is one way to beat the cold winter nights.
