I’ve got a similar situation, I moved into my mom’s 1958 brick rancher after she passed away four years ago, and my husband had passed away within 8 months too. So it’s still been “her” house, I’m slowly changing out what I can. Had all the wall to wall carpet removed first thing and freshly painted in a neutral color throughout. But all the window and doors and trim are a varnished wood. What colors go well with that? (I love the white trim but can’t tackle the work that would take!). Any suggestions would be appreciated because I love what I’ve seen of your ideas! Thanks for your inspiration to keep doing it bit by bit!!!

Navajo white Benjamin Moore, not too white to go with wood, or if you want darker Revere Pewter, beautiful neutral color.
