I absolutely love the way you’ve changed your house it’s beautiful but homey. I wish you could give me ideas how to decorate a 100 yr old house that’s a craftsman with lots of orange oak..my husband refuses to paint it. I’m stumped how to show off the wood but keep the rooms light & bright. I live in Iowa so I know I couldn’t hire you but a little advice would be awesome thank you

I am not Rhoda, but this is a blog from an interior decorator that explains how to achieve a lot of these looks if you need the help. https://laurelberninteriors.com/2018/10/28/stained-wood-trim-stays-16-wall-colors/
There are no clothes, DIY, cute family photos/stories or the variety that you get here.

Thank you, Edna, Laurel does offer a lot of good design ideas. There are so many ideas online with all the bloggers out there, so hopefully Veronica will find some help. If your husband won’t let you paint the orange oak, then you’ll have to work around it. I would paint it for sure if it was my house, but I understand the dilemma.
