What is a Silhouette, you ask? It’s an electronic cutting tool that connects to your computer allowing you to cut fonts and images in cardstock, vinyl, heat transfer material, etc.
It cuts all sorts of fun things from scrapbooking supplies to vinyl art. Lots of possibilities, as big as your imagination can hold.
With several blades for cutting, you can do a myriad of projects with the Silhouette machine. And the best thing is that you can use all the fonts on your computer or download fonts and images from the Silhouette site for little to nothing.

What a wonderful and exciting giveaway! The first project I would do with my new Silhouette would be a number pillow, or two, for our couch. Ooh, or maybe subway art? So many options! We are currently redoing our living room and dining room, and I can think of a lot of things I could create with the Silhouette to make our home extra special! Thank you for hosting! XOXO

I have been dying to get my hands on a Silhouette! I think the first thing I would do would be some fabric transfer projects for the Hubs and myself for cheering on the kids at their sports. Thanks for hosting this terrific giveaway!

WOW – this is a great giveaway Rhoda… Thanks! And I’m more than crossing my fingers for this one 🙂 There are SO many things I could see myself creating… I’d love to try glass etching and making a set of monogrammed stemless wine glasses; beautiful personalized aprons for some of the brides in my life and of course some new, personalized decor for my own home. Thanks again!!!

I would create some beautifully romantic intertwined antique-looking monograms and monogram all my pillows, linens, etc. as well as make monogrammed napkin holders. I would also create shapes of Scottish thistles, old-fashioned lilies, sea shells, and scalloped platters (some of my favorite accessories)and cut them out in toile to frame. I would go through old family photos that have interesting side views and create black silhouettes for the fronts of theme boxes for holding my photos to identify all that belong to a certain category, i.e. children blowing out birthday candles for all birthday pics and silhouettes of Christmas trees for all holiday pics.
