You can never have too many decorating books, so here’s another one to add to one of my reader’s collection. The New Better Homes & Gardens Decorating book is a classic that you’ll enjoy for years to come.

Chock full of inspiring pics and lots of reading material too, there are many tips and decorating ideas in this soft-cover book. From bathroom inspiration….
To bedrooms….
To outdoor decorating ideas….
Full color inspirational pictures all through the book.
Learn more about arranging too.

To win this book, simply leave a comment on THIS post and tell me what you’d like to learn more about in decorating if you get the book. If you add a post on YOUR blog about my giveaway and link to mine, you’ll be entered twice, so double your chances to win! Be sure and tell me in the comments that you’ve posted a link too!
If you want to get in on many more giveaways this week, check out the Bloggy Carnival…here!

Bloggy Giveaways Quarterly Carnival Button

A very sweet friend of mine has graciously allowed me and Peter to use her beach house in Gulf Shores this week, so we’ll be gone for a few days…chilling on the beach. The contest will end at 6:00 pm (Central time) on Thursday, the 30th. Winner will be announced on Friday the 31st!

Rhoda, I’m excited to be entering this contest. I read your outstanding blog daily but for some reason was not able to comment. Just started a blog of my own, so maybe now my computer will cooperate with comments! When I figure out how, I will add this contest to my blog!
I would love for you to talk more about placing groupings of accessories together.

You have been boo-ed. Copy the boo photo and put it on your sidebar so everyone will know you already have been boo-ed. Then, find some friends to boo.

I wonder if you will even see this amidst all your comments!

I do not know much about decorating, but the thing I would most like to learn would be where to place things, and how to mix colors.

This carnival is a fun way to find new blogs to read.

As for decorating, what I REALLY need is a HOUSEKEEPER. And it’s so very difficult deciding what to keep, and what to let go!! 🙁

I would love to learn more about accessorizing. I never quite feel the room is complete when I’m finished. I think I’m always afraid of over doing it.

    Hi Rhoda,
Not sure if this give away is open to everyone (I live in Australia)but is worth a try huh. I know how I want my home to look but have trouble tying everything in together to get the right *finished look*.
Anyway hope you are enjoying your time away
