You can never have too many decorating books, so here’s another one to add to one of my reader’s collection. The New Better Homes & Gardens Decorating book is a classic that you’ll enjoy for years to come.

Chock full of inspiring pics and lots of reading material too, there are many tips and decorating ideas in this soft-cover book. From bathroom inspiration….
To bedrooms….
To outdoor decorating ideas….
Full color inspirational pictures all through the book.
Learn more about arranging too.

To win this book, simply leave a comment on THIS post and tell me what you’d like to learn more about in decorating if you get the book. If you add a post on YOUR blog about my giveaway and link to mine, you’ll be entered twice, so double your chances to win! Be sure and tell me in the comments that you’ve posted a link too!
If you want to get in on many more giveaways this week, check out the Bloggy Carnival…here!

A very sweet friend of mine has graciously allowed me and Peter to use her beach house in Gulf Shores this week, so we’ll be gone for a few days…chilling on the beach. The contest will end at 6:00 pm (Central time) on Thursday, the 30th. Winner will be announced on Friday the 31st!

I would like to learn to decorate in ways that express our family and who we are… not necessarily what’s in style…

Oh I would love this! I have just bought my first home and have lots to do to it yet, to make it “mine”. I love do-it-yourself projects!

I have lived in my high-rise condo for five years and I’m STUCK on how to pull it all together. I’m an interior design school drop out… I should have a few tricks up my sleeve… I have such a creative block…sheesh!

We’ve renovated the kitchen (major!)and one of the bathrooms, but my two bugaboos are trying to get the “box” feeling out of the bedroom (using trim and moldings) and a suitable furniture arrangement for the living/dining area. The room has odd angles.

I’ve got a niece who just graduated from Samford in interior design. She’ll be moving back to Nashville soon. Hope to be signing her on to the projects while she finds a job here in town!

Came over here via Fran’s blog. Don’t need to be in the raffle, just wanted to say I’ll be adding you to my reader…

Give my regards to O’Carrs in Homewood. Have a chicken salad fruit plate for me!

    :-D)

I need to figure out how to pull it all together so that my rooms arent just a hodge podge of everything.

    Have fun at the beach!

This magazine hits my problemo on the head…arrangement! I think I can pick out pieces for decorating pretty well (my hubby is the best) but I am clueless about placement. I would love to inherit that gift.

Please enter me as well and I will link you to my blog right now as well.

    Have a fabulous beachy week.

Being a military wife it seems we are always moving somewhere new, with different sized rooms than the last place! I would love to learn how to arrange furniture better; it seems I always do it the same way…like I am in a rut. Thank you for doing this giveaway and please enter me! 🙂 Have a wonderful day!

Oh I’m so jealous you get to spend time on the beach! What a relaxing get away for you and the hubby….have a wonderful time! For me learning more about “arranging” things is a biggie. I love the stuff I purchase…but then I never know where to put it to really make it shine!

My husband and I are planning a move from our current house into a new one with an open floor plan. Going from a place with individual rooms to one with open space has me stymied when it comes to decorating, so my interest is in learning how to deal with decorating an open plan.

Me, me! I want to enter! If I win that book, I want to read more about the outside decorating tips. I have a patio area that is in desperate need of some help before next spring. Why not get it done this winter!
