Lantern for the Breakfast Table from CSN

Just a couple of weeks ago, I shared my love of lanterns.  One particular lantern was on my radar and it came from CSN Lighting.  You have probably noticed that CSN has been doing a lot of giveaways all over blogland.  They contacted me a few months ago and asked me if I’d like to collaborate with them on a giveaway too and I said, oh yeah sure, just give me a little time.  So, I sat on the invitation for a little while. Then, when this lantern came along and I saw it on Pure Style Home, I was all set to purchase this beauty for myself, when I remembered the invitation from CSN.  They were very generous and asked me if I’d like to blog about the lantern in exchange for getting it for FREE.  I said a BIG whooo-hooo to that one and they promptly shipped out the lantern to my house.   I love trades like this! 🙂 I hung it myself and absolutely love it.  I think this will now push me into doing a few updates in my kitchen, maybe with some new fabrics I’ve been talking about.  The lantern is just the icing on the cake now.  Hubby even gave it the thumbs up.

It has a beautiful finish and complements my kitchen very well.

So, before you all get totally jealous of my good fortune, let me tell you this bit of news.

NEXT month, in September, I’m going to be doing a HUGE giveaway with CSN for one of my readers.  The prize is $150 to be spent at CSN Lighting and you can either get this lantern OR something else valued up to $150.

Can I get a big squeeeeeal on that one!! I’m so excited to be able to share this fun giveaway with all of you too.  One of you will be very happy, so stay tuned and the giveaway will be coming up in about a month!

Thanks so much for stopping by to see my new beautiful fixture.  I can’t wait to share it with all of you too.

{Disclosure:  I was given the lantern fixture for free by CSN Lighting}.

Rhoda, thank you for the comment on my new blog. You have no idea how you have influenced our little house. I’ve done the bead board wall paper and I have checkered floors in my laundry room because of you! Oh and my mom has checkered floors in her laundry room because of you too. I feel like a celebrity has left a comment on my blog. Haha!

On another note, I had been following DaisyCottage for a LONG time when I finally saw a photo of a lake in MY town. She lives in the exact same historic district as me. I was in SHOCK!!! It was so random because I found her through Layla who I don’t live near at all.

Anyway, you are one of the most inspirational designers to me! You have helped me accomplish a lot on a little budget.

    THANK YOU

Love the lantern! I am most inspired that you hung it yourself. I am hoping that I too can find one just as great and do it myself!
