There’s a magazine publication here in Cobb County called Little Black Dress/Little Red Wagon, which features a diversity of local talent and happenings around the county.  The founder and editor is Elizabeth Cossick and she recently came to my house for an interview and photoshoot, featuring my house and my blog in the August issue.  It’s so exciting to get featured in your own hometown and I’m so thrilled each time it happens.  I’ve been in Atlanta Magazine, the Atlanta Journal and Constitution, and now Little Black Dress.  It never gets old, believe me!

The above picture was taken earlier this year when the ATL Journal and Constitution did a home feature and before I moved things around in my living room. Â Here’s a new shot of it now.
Elizabeth sent me the PDF to share with all my readers, since all of you do not live here locally to see the magazine in person, so I’m sharing it today.

Just click the above link to open the PDF with all the pictures!  So happy my dad gets recognition in all this with me and I get to share it all with y’all!  You have all been the biggest cheerleaders for me and I couldn’t do this blog without you all coming back day after day. Thank you for that! I appreciate you all more than you can possibly know!
Congratulations Rhoda! This was a well-written article. She definitely captured the spirit of you and your dad! Your readers (me included) love him and your whole family. You are down to earth and honest and that’s what we love about you! You share so many different topics about home, life, fashion, DIY, home tours and many other topics. I always look forward to seeing what you will be sharing next.
Such a great picture Rhoda! Your Dad is so cute and you look fabulous:) Love the article!
Congrats!!! Great pics!
Rhoda I’m so happy for you, yaayyyy, whoohoo!!
What an honor and what a great article, the photographs are to die for and you look so fabulously lovely sitting next to your handsome Dad! I’m just so tickled that you were selected to be part of this magazine, it clearly indicates that the editors have excellent taste! You and your Dad have worked so hard to make your dream for this home become a reality and you both deserve all the recognition and accolades coming your way, I’m sure there will be more in your future!! Great article, thank you for sharing it with us. xx VBg
Great Article! I love your Parents, makes me miss my Grandparents who raised me even more.
You know what would be wonderful? A Interview with your Dad, with reader questions. One with your Mother as well on food!
I have a question for your Dad. -What do you think about your Daughters success in the blogging world? 2. How do you keep the weeds at bay in your gardens?
Mom: What is your favorite pie recipe?
Hi Katrina, that’s a great idea. With the new app Periscope it makes it easy to do videos and save them. I can do the videos live and them save them for later too. I definitely need to do more of those.
Thank you my dear for sharing the magazine article. You are so refreshing! Love everything you blog and especially enjoy the Fashion tips! You go girl!
Rhoda, ever since I found your blog in 2011, I’ve been a consistent blog friend because your story seemed like my story…the same, but different in the particulars. I am so happy for you creating your beautiful home from scratch with your Daddy’s help. You’re so right. Not feeling creative, just feature your Daddy. I congratulate you on your newest magazine feature success, Rhoda. What a glamorous picture of you both…and your Daddy’s wearing really cool shoes. I am a devoted fan and absolutely love your “Fashion over Fifty” posts.
I wish you continued success and only hope that you’ll continue your blog for years to come, otherwise, your myriad blog friends would find a rift in their lives…like when a favorite television series ends before you, the viewer, is ready, or worse, one loses a friend.
