I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Mary Kay Andrews a few times and she is a delightful lady, spunky and funny. I’ve also reviewed several of her books in the past and I recently got a copy of Christmas Bliss to read and review and I’ve got a giveaway packet to offer to one of my readers! Mary Kay is a well known author of chick lit books that are fun to read. She lives here in Atlanta and also loves junking and antiquing, so her books are full of those fun tidbits foo.
Christmas Bliss brings back two favorite characters of Mary Kay’s, antiques dealer Weezie Foley and BeBe Loudermilk, owner of Tybee Island’s Breeze Inn. Best friends and confidants from Savannah, GA who get into all sorts of trouble together, the story weaves back and forth between the two characters. Will they be able to sort out their issues with the men in their lives and live happily ever after? This is a light and breezy story of Weezie’s upcoming Christmas Eve wedding to her longtime love, Daniel, not to mention her best friend, Bebe is due to give birth at any moment. Weezie hops a plane to NY to visit her soon to be husband, when he is playing guest chef at a prestigious restaurant in NYC. She barely makes it back in time and then BeBe has a big scare as the love of her life goes missing for a day in his charter boat.
An entertaining read of Southern women’s literature, you’ll enjoy Christmas Bliss this year.
The publisher of Christmas Bliss has a fun prize pack for me to give away to one of my readers, so all you have to do is leave a comment telling me, what you want for Christmas? What is YOUR Christmas bliss?
Follow the directions on the Rafflecopter widget and I’ll choose a winner when it ends!
Merry Christmas and hope you get your Christmas bliss this year!

My Christmas Bliss would be to forget the daily challenges, heart aches, and the sad shape of our society’s values for all of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. To concentrate for 48 hours on the Hope in Jesus rejoicing that this is not my eternal home. Wouldn’t true bliss be that joy unmarred by the ways of this world?
