A Little Christmas Bliss with Mary Kay Andrews

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Mary Kay Andrews a few times and she is a delightful lady, spunky and funny.  I’ve also reviewed several of her books in the past and I recently got a copy of Christmas Bliss to read and review and I’ve got a giveaway packet to offer to one of my readers!  Mary Kay is a well known author of chick lit books that are fun to read. She lives here in Atlanta and also loves junking and antiquing, so her books are full of those fun tidbits foo.

Christmas Bliss brings back two favorite characters of Mary Kay’s, antiques dealer Weezie Foley and BeBe Loudermilk, owner of Tybee Island’s Breeze Inn.  Best friends and confidants from Savannah, GA who get into all sorts of trouble together, the story weaves back and forth between the two characters.  Will they be able to sort out their issues with the men in their lives and live happily ever after?   This is a light and breezy story of Weezie’s upcoming Christmas Eve wedding to her longtime love, Daniel, not to mention her best friend, Bebe is due to give birth at any moment.  Weezie hops a plane to NY to visit her soon to be husband, when he is playing guest chef at a prestigious restaurant in NYC.  She barely makes it back in time and then BeBe has a big scare as the love of her life goes missing for a day in his charter boat.

An entertaining read of Southern women’s literature, you’ll enjoy Christmas Bliss this year.

Love Mary Kay’s books and would love to read this one. My Christmas Bliss this year is for the family to be together as much as possible and for the nephew in Afghanistan to be safe and return home to us soon.

My bliss would be having my whole family together at Christmas and having everyone remember the meaning of Christmas and forget all this materialism.

I love reading Mary Kay Andrew’s books–they are always an entertaining escape.
My Christmas bliss would be to have both of my adult children home at the same time. That happens less and less these days. Of course hind sight is 20/20, but I certainly took this for granted in their younger days.
    Merry Christmas everyone!

I have a book being read every day. It is ME time. For me a book is better than any glass of wine. I love reading about southern women. Just finished the Savannah from Savannah series. What fun! Would love to be starting another southern book soon! 🙂

I want a Christmas miracle…for my boy Zach. I want him out of the ICU, and on the road to recovery. He deserves a life of health and happiness. This is my Christmas wish.

Love ALL Mary Kay Andrews books! Love the southern setting! My holiday bliss is spending time in the kitchen baking all the goodies I grew up enjoying, plus a few more I’ve added over the years, then sharing them with some close friends and family. Just being able to relax and watch a movie with my kiddos and hubby makes me happy!
