A Little Christmas Bliss with Mary Kay Andrews

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Mary Kay Andrews a few times and she is a delightful lady, spunky and funny.  I’ve also reviewed several of her books in the past and I recently got a copy of Christmas Bliss to read and review and I’ve got a giveaway packet to offer to one of my readers!  Mary Kay is a well known author of chick lit books that are fun to read. She lives here in Atlanta and also loves junking and antiquing, so her books are full of those fun tidbits foo.

Christmas Bliss brings back two favorite characters of Mary Kay’s, antiques dealer Weezie Foley and BeBe Loudermilk, owner of Tybee Island’s Breeze Inn.  Best friends and confidants from Savannah, GA who get into all sorts of trouble together, the story weaves back and forth between the two characters.  Will they be able to sort out their issues with the men in their lives and live happily ever after?   This is a light and breezy story of Weezie’s upcoming Christmas Eve wedding to her longtime love, Daniel, not to mention her best friend, Bebe is due to give birth at any moment.  Weezie hops a plane to NY to visit her soon to be husband, when he is playing guest chef at a prestigious restaurant in NYC.  She barely makes it back in time and then BeBe has a big scare as the love of her life goes missing for a day in his charter boat.

An entertaining read of Southern women’s literature, you’ll enjoy Christmas Bliss this year.

I love taking pictures of family to help remember the special times. I’ve worn my camera out, so I’m asking Santa for a new one! 🙂

A blissful Christmas for me, would be to have all my children & grandchildren attend Christmas Eve service with me! Next to that, I will enjoy the time away from teaching my challenging junior high students by reading, & hopefully the new book by Mary Kay Andrews!

Materially speaking, I want tools for Christmas this year! But mostly, I just want to spend time with ALL my family at one time! That is the most important thing to me!

I want to have some things fixed around our new to us house. It isn’t very traditional but it will make us all very happy. Also, I love Mary Kay Andrews books. I have read them all.

Christmas Bliss = Family Time However I must confess; I’m not going to be disappointed if that new flat-screen TV just happens to be under the tree on Christmas morning . . . my “old school/big as the house” TV is on it’s last channel! LOL
