Mad Hatter’s Platters Giveaway!

Like me, most of you love dish ware and setting a pretty table on many occasions.  So, today I’m sharing a new site that I think you’ll really enjoy.  Mad Hatter’s Platters is a small family owned business, started by Janet Hughes and her husband, Pat, in 2006.  After both of their in-laws passed away, their daughter-in-laws wanted to keep the family business going, so they took over Mad Hatter’s Platters and are still supplying the dish-aholics all over the country with their unique serving pieces.

I love their family story and how the platters are put together with an innovative high quality aluminum hardware design.

I get lots of opportunities to do giveaways, but don’t take them all unless I think that it’s something that all of you will like as well.

They sent me a platter of my choice to try out and I loved how easy it goes together.  You can see on that link above how the hardware works and holds the pieces together very securely.

Here it is flat, with the hardware removed for storage.  I chose a square white platter on the bottom and a zebra print plate on top.  Love the combo!

There are so many things to do with platters like these, from fruit trays to serving pieces.  Perfect for a party.

They even added a pretty red bowl for Valentine’s (or Christmas) decor.  I had the red strawberries in the fridge, which showed off the white platter perfectly.  Just add dipping sauce or chocolate in the top bowl for a yummy dessert treat.

mad hatter platters melamine

You’re only limited by your imagination with these platters.  They also sent me these melamine plates in blues and greens and they work the same way. The aluminum insert just screws apart for multi-changing.

I can see these being such a great gift idea or for you ladies who love dish ware, perfect for entertaining in many areas.  Mother’s Day is not far down the road, so think about gift possibilities for the women in your life.  I think they are so cute and versatile at Mad Hatter’s Platters.

Today, Mad Hatter’s Platters is offering one of my readers a free platter, just like this red and white striped one:

They are all delightful! I am madly in love with Scotty dogs. I also like the tipsters and any of the classic plain whites/creams. Thanks so much for the chance – a wonderful giveaway. Jane

They are all so beautiful it made it soooo hard to choose. There were two that I really lust after – the Fancy Flower Two Tiered and the Lemon Two Tiered.

Such fun designs and what a great idea! I truly love all the platers! I can see multiple use for all of them. My fav is probably the larger white platter with the red dipping bowl!

WOW…they are all so beautiful. If I had to choose, I would choose the Fiesta Floral Platter w/bowl two tiered. I love to feed those I love and I can see veggies on the bottom tray and a yummy dip in the bowl on top! 🙂
