Shoes! Mention shoes to most any woman and you’ll get some sort of reaction. Mostly big smiles and eager talk about our favorite pairs, from what I know about our gender. We love us some shoes. I’m not immune either to being a shoe hoarder and my shoe love goes way back. Buying a new pair of shoes is right up there at the top of retail therapy, just the right cure for any emotional ailment that we might be faced with.
So, here’s a peek inside my closet. I have one of those shoe sorters that hold 25 pair. You can see that I have so many that they don’t all fit in there. This doesn’t include the 4 pair of boots that have their own box, as well as several other pairs in boxes. I’d say my shoe obsession reaches around 35-40 or so, counting boots, not so bad from what I’ve seen out there.
A recent Spring addition from Target.
There’s just something about putting a cute pair of shoes on your feet that instantly cheers a girl up, don’t you think? And if you’ve been reading my blog very long, you will remember that I’ve posted about shoes before.
I keep all my flip-flops in a big basket on top of my closet shelves and pull it down to take out a pair or two. Are you addicted to flip-flops too?

So, which pair of shoes were your smartest purchase ever??
I’m going to have to vote for these Steve Madden suede flat slouch boots I ordered this year. I have enjoyed them SO much with tucked in jeans, dresses and skirts. And the fact that they are flat is a big plus. They are super comfy.

The best shoe purchase I’ve made are my new TEVA sandals. They’re leather and the soles are rubber and I cannot believe how darn comfy they are. I love them. Even though I cringed at the check out counter when I made the purchase.
My smartest footwear purchase was a pair of very simple handmade leather sandals from the Florida keys that were a favorite for years.
My smartest purchase was a really cute and relatively comfortable pair of black high heels.
I love shoes, I spend more money on shoes than clothes!
