Even though no one but you sees the sheets on your bed, don’t you love to crawl into bed at night with soft and cozy sheets?  Yeah, me too!  I have been on a quest to find those perfect soft and cozy sheets for awhile and have bought a couple sets over the last few years.  But, none of them matched my expectations for lasting and wearability.  Both sets have pilling on the bottom sheet, which drives me crazy. I’ve bought different kinds of thread counts over the year and have read countless articles about thread count, with most of those being a little vague about how to find the right sheets.
Egyptian cotton sheets have been the rage for a few years now, with many of those costing in excess of $200 and I’m hard pressed to spend that much on sheets. I read all about how thread count matters, but the length of the threads is part of what makes sheets soft and how do you know that without touching and sleeping on them? Â If I can find a decent set of King sheets under $100, I’m pretty happy. Â But, it hasn’t been that easy to find sheets for that price that are really soft to the touch and wash up well too.

So, here’s how this story went. Â I was strolling through the Kennesaw Festival last month and spotted PeachSkinSheets booth. Â I went over and started talking to them. They had examples of their sheet fabrics and colors displayed and after feeling the sheets, I was very impressed with the softness of them. Â At a $50 Â festival price, I thought they’d be a good gamble, so I bought a set and promptly put them on my bed.

And guess what? Â I love them and wanted to share this with y’all too!

They are so soft and really cozy and feel great at night. Â Much softer than my others sheets that have been washed and washed. Â I’ve slept on microfiber sheets before at a B&B in Mobile and even looked that brand up online. Â Many spas and hotels use that brand of sheets and I was tempted to buy them (those were called Comfy sheets), but they were $150, so I held off. Â I’m so glad I did, because these to me are the same quality and feel of those more expensive 100% microfiber sheets. That’s what these are made of. Â I chose Beach Blue for my color.
Oh, and they offer FREE fabric swatches!
You can read about their fabrics here.

They are supposed to be cooler for hot sleepers and warmer for cold sleepers. Â Whatever your temp, these are supposed to work for both. Â So far, so good! Â I’m loving how they feel and sleep.
I found PeachSkinSheets on Facebook and Twitter and asked them if they work with bloggers.  They do!  I figured if I love them and found them on my own, I should share it with all of you too!  And they do giveaways, so I get to give away a set of sheets from PeachSkinSheets to one of my readers.  They also sent ME another set for my King bed, so now I have 2!  I bought the Beach Blue set and now I have a white set too.
I also love that they are right here in Atlanta!

They came in this cute orange and white box and were wrapped up all pretty in orange paper and a cute little peach hangtag. Â Here are the official specs of Peachskin Sheets:
The Original PeachSkinSheets are GREAT for hot sleepers! Breathable, ultra soft, anti-pill and anti-snag bed sheets featuring thermal control and moisture management properties…warm sleepers stay cool, and cool sleepers stay cozy. The durable athletic grade performance SMART fabric wicks away moisture to keep you drier and more comfortable. Best of all, they have a luxurious 1500 Thread Count softness with a brushed PeachSkin finish on both sides. Available in Split King, Cali King, King, Queen, Full, Twin and XL Dorm Twin and XL Dorm Full.

I read how to take care of them and they suggest washing in cold or Warm, not Hot, and drying them on Medium heat to prevent any pilling. I’ll be doing that too and hopefully these sheets will last me a long time. Â I think you would be very pleased with them too!
You can browse their website for other festivals coming up in Georgia and you can get a better price if you buy there, but if you need to order online at PeachSkinSheets, the prices are not outrageous at $69.95 a set.

They offer TWO colors of the month for a special price of $55 and May colors are Beach Blue and Mint Julip.  I love the Beach Blue ones I got.

With a new mattress would love some new sheets, so this is very timely. I like their colors, like that they’re made here, and almost cannot believe their price. And since my husband is a “hot sleeper” am thrilled that they may keep him cool in summer.
I only have a couple of pairs of sheets and both are several years old. I really could use these!
It would be great to be able to sleep on cool sheets while my cold natured husband could stay warm at the same time. That’s amazing.
These sound wonderful! I want to try them!
What a great post! I have also fought the comfy sheet battle! I sleep hot and my husband sleeps cool. It would be great if these are truly comfortable for each of us!
I have to agree that searching for the perfect sheets is a gamble at best. Thread count doesn’t always equate with comfort and durability, which you have mentioned. I tend to buy my sheets on sale (with coupons and reward points) at Macy’s. That way I can get a good thread count at a reasonable price. I have also found that the weight of the fabric makes a big difference to me. I don’t like heavy sheets. I like them to be light and airy! Thanks for the opportunity to try out another new brand! They sound wonderful!
These sheets sound wonderful. I would love to try them and we’re in the market for a few new sets too.
Will definitely look these up. I love buying from Georgia businesses! Thanks for the tip.
Oh my goodness, do I ever need these sheets! Hormonal changes cause me to run the gamut from hot to cold so a set of sheets that will work with me would be a God-send! It is so difficult to find the perfect feel! Hope they come my way!
Cool AND warm??!!! Sign me up for these! I’m so boring — I always go with white ones, though . . . .
I’ve been looking for sheets that keep me cool at night. Thanks for sharing this and for a great give away!
I really enjoy your blog.
I have been wanting to try these! Sure hope that I win a set.
I too am always on the search for the perfect sheets. Yes, also read all about the thread count, still the perfect sheets allude me. Would love to win a set. The beach blue is such a pretty color. Thanks for the giveaway!
Sounds like we are all a bunch of Hot Chicks trying to sleep cool at night! I am always on a quest to find sheets that don’t shrink, especially width wise, and do not come out of the dryer a wrinkled mess. I love these colors and the idea they are made in Georgia. I originally purchased the My Pillow because it is made in the USA and the company is owned by Veterans…those pillows live up to their promise too!
These sound great. Thanks for the tip and the chance to win a set of sheets. Always looking for comfy sheets that don’t cost an arm and a leg.
I also love the softness and feel of the Jennifer Lopez brand at Kohls. I would love to give these a try. It always great to get a good nights sleep!!
These sound so perfect for those of us dealing with hormonal issues! Thanks for sharing Rhoda!!
Sheets are expensive! Have been searching for sheets that do not “pill” and have the feel of soft, cool cotton. I love nice white crisp, yet soft fresh sheets on the bed. I wish I could find some that don’t “pill” and have good elastic in the fitted corners. Many of the brands I have bought do not put the elastic in the same way as the old Cannon percale sheets of my childhood and do not last as long before they start pilling or the elastic corners are shot. Thanks for the offer of a giveaway! They look comfy!
You’re so right! The old cotton percale were THE BEST. Sateen is too hot. I currently use Charisma sheets I’ve bought on sale, but I love to change them, so another set would be welcome. I would probably gift them to my stepmom, so she’d have something nice for their guest bedroom. Their current microfiber ones are SO HOT.
P.S. The Charisma sheets sold today are NOT the same. That’s why I’m on the lookout for new. They were American made of Supima Cotton. which is the best long-staple pima there is. They were percale so no pilling like the sateen that is brushed first to make it feel soft and drape.
It seems like I’ve been having hot flashes forever!! I would love to find a set of sheets that would let me be comfortable. I love the mint julep color. You may have found my solution for a good nights sleep.
I would give the set to my parents..they are 86 and 91 !/2! They deserve to have the best rest they can at their age and I have sacrificed for us all these years.. I would let them have a double set to enjoy in their remaining years still living at home.
