{Giveaway is now Closed}

Ilove it when a publisher contacts me about doing a review on a decorating book. I was recently given the opportunity to receive a copy of the book, Speed Decorating, by pro-stager Jill Vegas and the chance to give away a copy to one of my readers.
So, of course I said a BIG FAT….YES!
It’s full of glossy color pics that I think you’ll really enjoy and Jill focuses on a Speed Decorating Questionnaire evualating the following questions:
- What are the primary functions of the space?
- How does the room look?
- Is everything working?
- Does the room feel comfy and inviting:
She suggests getting started by answering these questions and gives a lot of practical tips for arriving at a room of your dreams. I think the book is concise with some well thought out advice that all decorators could take advantage of, even if you don’t have natural skills and talents in this area.

Jill covers all of the following areas in detail with lots of pics:
Entry
Living Room
Kitchen
Dining Room
Bedroom
Bath
Curb Appeal
So, if you’d live to win a copy of this book, just leave a comment here and tell us which room you’d focus on if you were going to do some speed decorating?
Giveaway ends on Friday evening at 6 pm Central time.

My Kitchen
I really NEED this book for a combination living/dining room area in our new house…it’s got me stumped.
Hi Rhoda, I need to do some serious decorating in a very modern home – nothing like I have ever done before and I am shaking in my boots!! Please include me in your giveaway.

Actually, we are getting ready to move. So, I’ll need to decorate all of them :).
I need help with my family room. Something’s just not working and I can’t quite put my finger on it. Sounds like a great book.
Oh Rhonda, this looks like just the book for me. As you know I am in the middle of a redo and would love to have this book. I am seriously trying to figure out how to lighten up my cherry kitchen and blend it with the new room.
Sorry I am late in telling you A big thanks for you email and input into my reno. I am still in quite a quandry on what to do?
Thanks for this great giveaway. Have a wonderful day.
I would do a room off my living room that leads to my deck. Kinda want to make it multi-purpose. Use for entertaining when it’s too hot, craft storage, sitting room.
Hi Rhonda,
You did a wonderful review on the book. Makes me want to read it and devourer all the wonderful picutres of rooms.
I think my diningroom could use some speed decorating!
Great giveaway.

What a great book. I would need it for the room that we want to be my husband’s office, and for our rec room as it transitions from kids to teenagers.
Mornin’ Rhoda,
You have the best giveaways! My living room needs some stagin’ & stylin’ before we try to sell 🙂
Blessings,
Sindy
I’d focus on the family room or kitchen.
My living room and dining room are open to one another and very tiny. I would focus on those.
I’d work on my den or my children’s rooms. No, wait! My master bedroom. Yes, final answer. Master bedroom… although the kitchen could use some help, too. I think I really need this book!
Definitely my living room. It needs some punch! Thanks for the chance to win!
Oh, how fun. I think my master bedroom could use some tlc. Thanks for the chance to win.
I love this! I could really use some fresh eyes in my living room. An open concept that I’m just so fearful of committing to anything…for fear of the repercussions to the adjacent rooms!
Great book!!! I would focus on my son’s room. Thanks for the chance to win!!!
Hi Rhoda,
I need help with my living room and dining room. It is a long and narrow room and I’m having trouble figuring it out. I need the help that the book would offer me. Hope I win !!!
So excited that you have posted it as a giveaway.
Have a Great Day !!
What a great giveaway! I have this book on my wishlist! I am redoing my kitchen, so I’d love to learn some tips for that. Then I’d use it for every other room in my home :0)
Thank you for the great review!

Oh, my master bedroom – the last room in the house to have anything done to it!!
