We are all just trying to find out new normal with all that life brings us at the moment and I’m going to continue to blog and share beauty with you all, so I hope that’s good with you. I can’t sit around and wring my hands, it’s scary out there but we have to continue living our lives and know that this too shall pass. We don’t know how fast or how hard it will pass, but it will pass. Praying that God guides our country through this pandemic with the least amount of damage to health and finances for all of us.
Now, on to a positive subject. Spring is here and it’s a great time to get outside. Mark and I have been on our bikes again and it feels good to be out in the sunshine (finally!) and get some fresh air. Being cooped up for months during winter and rainy season hasn’t been fun, so it’s nice to get some good weather now. That’s a plus for Spring!
Today I’m joining a group of gals for a Spring tablescape, so I hope you’ll enjoy all the beauty shared. It’s sure to lift your spirits and we all need that right now.

I do enjoy setting a pretty table for Spring and Easter and my Bordallo bunny dishes are perfect for a spring table setting.
These flowers are all faux but they sure look pretty together. Green and pink were made for spring and that pop of blue and white makes it all look better.
I’ve had these bunny dishes for over 20 years and they still make me smile.
Pink and green are such a nice duo together. Those fluffy pink flowers came from Magnolia in Waco when I was there last Fall and I got them from the Bosque shop. I only bought 3 and now regret not buying more. They are so pretty!
I went to Michaels and bought 2 more pink Dahlias to fill out the arrangement, which is mixed with other faux stems that I already have. Sometimes faux is good to have around!
These sweet Bordallo bunny pieces are so cute with faux eggs.
And it makes me happy to have a pretty table set up for Easter and Spring.
I keep these blue and white pieces on the buffet most all the time and love how they look against the white Plantation shutters.
Here’s a link to my blue and white rug in the dining room.
Last week, I shared our Spring mantel and kitchen area, so don’t miss that! And also the living room and foyer Spring inspiration. Lots of spring ideas for you!

thank GOD for you blog…IT IS THE NORMALCY AND THE HAPPY PLACE FOR SO MANY OF US EVERY DAY…PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE KEEP WRITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Mary Anne!!! You are such a sweet person and don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere. This is my job and business and all of us bloggers need the support of our readers more than ever now. We are uncertain as well about the near future of blogs and are already seeing some changes with our ad revenue, so we all want to stay up and running during all of this mess.
Rhoda, Your table looks beautiful! You certainly have a nack for arranging. I thought the flowers were real too. I enjoy your blogs each day and have given me many ideas. I noted that you went to Michaels,
I am surprised that some stores are still open down there. Here in Ontario, they are closed
Some of ours are closed and some are still open, GA hasn’t closed down yet. But we are staying in. It was awhile ago I went to Michaels.
Thank you Rhoda for post all this loveliness! Makes me remember when we weren’t as wrapped up in social media and had more time to DIY decorate! Praying for your mom and dad during this time, too!
So good you’re here Rhoda. Love your blog. Yes things are pretty scary out there. We have a small business and are wondering if we will make it or not. Haven’t laid anybody off yet…but I fear that is coming. Sure hope we can get this country back up and running before too long, otherwise there may not be any jobs for people to return to. Praying for God’s help with all of this! Hang in there Rhoda….stay safe and stay well. Mark too!
Thank you, Diane,it’s just such an unprecedented time in our history and I pray we can get through it with minor damage. The financial impact is just as concerning as the health issues.
Hi Rhoda, Your table looks so lovely and I really enjoyed your blog today. All things are different these days & the bloggers are a bright spot. Your blog in particular is always so interesting and gives such good ideas. I am glad you are staying in and we are too. Maybe it won’t be too much longer but we will just have to wait & see. Stay safe and I will be following you just like I always do. I’m so glad you are blogging!
Thank you, Linda! WE appreciate the support from all of you, since this is our jobs as well.
Absolutely Beautiful, your Easter decorating.
Rhoda, your Easter/Spring dining room table is just beautiful! The flowers are so pretty and look so real! Faux flowers are so nice these days and I use them a lot in our home. Your “bunny” dishes are beautiful!
Praying that you and Mark — and your folks — are keeping well. This is sure a different Easter for most of us who always get together with family. We, too, will worship the risen Lord! HE IS RISEN INDEED! PRAISE GOD!
As always, thanks for all your lovely posts, Rhoda. We appreciate what you do for all of us! God Bless you! You are truly a blessing to all of us.
THank you, Mary-Ann, you always make my day!
Rhoda, thank you thank you for “normal” and pretty! Please keep it up. I cannot believe those beautiful pink flowers are faux! They are gorgeous. And I never get tired of seeing your sideboard! Blessings, sweet friend
Thank you Roxanne, I appreciate all of you supporting me. We all need it now as bloggers more than ever! Hoping this thing doesn’t last for too long so we can all get back to normal.
