Spring Tour of Living Room and Foyer

In spite of what we are all experiencing right now, I hope these Spring home tours make you happy and lift your spirits with the cheery colors of this time of year. This is my favorite season of the year and I’m always excited to see the new fresh green growth pop out on the trees as well as my flowering bushes outside start to come alive again. I can’t help but think that Spring is going to help us get through this hard time we are in at the moment and I pray it’s shorter than predicted. I’m taking a break from Fashion over 50 this week, but I’ll come up with something for next week.

I’m joining a group of colorful bloggers this week on the It’s a Colorful Life tour and I hope you’ll visit all of them for a happy dose of color!  It’s been going all week and ends today. Hosted by Jennifer and Jewel, this tour is so fun and I enjoy all the color that these ladies bring to the internet. I’m not a neutral person and can’t live without color and I know a lot of you feel the same way!

If you’re coming from Diana’s blog, welcome to you! I know you’re going to enjoy all of these color loving bloggers. We need color and happiness right now!

I don’t have an explosion of Spring decor around my house but I enjoy adding little touches here and there in the living room.

I’ve had this boxwood topiary for a long time and thought it looked so pretty in my blue and white canister with the reindeer moss added for extra green. A couple of white birds make a great complement to the vignette.

After I finished taking pics, I also did a new Spring project of making these blue and white eggs for Easter. I had seen my friend, Yvonne at Stone Gable make these and decided to try them myself. I’ll be doing a post about them, but in the meantime check out Yvonne’s post, they are so easy to make. I bought napkins and wood eggs off Amazon and already had the Mod Podge.

I grabbed a large shell I had in my stash and they fit perfectly in there with some shredded paper I borrowed from a box.

The bird and butterfly napkins in blue and white were perfect for Spring blue and white chinoiserie eggs. I’ll share my how to soon!

We love our small living room filled with color and my gallery wall holds my fave collection of vintage art I’ve found along the way.

Colorful pillows in the living room always make me feel Spring like.

Here’s a peek at the dining room which I shared yesterday if you missed it all decked out for Spring.

The foyer table always gets a new look for the season and I try to come up with something new every year using what I have for the most part.

I found these fig branches at Target this year and picked up a long one and short one and I love how they look in this blue and white vase.

Bunnies, birds and spring things are a beautiful part of spring. I picked up this little faux succulent at the vintage market I went to in Greenville a few weeks ago. That little Bordallo bunny cup and saucer is part of my collection in the dining room and I think it looks so sweet with little eggs inside.

This bunny is one of my faves and I can’t get rid of him. I found him at at home decor store years ago. More Bordallo green pieces are great to pull out for Spring and the bowl filled with moss balls and a little nest gives a nod to the season we are in. I still love green and green mixed with blue is wonderful!

That bamboo mirror is a vintage find from a few years ago and I love it so much. It reflects the dining room table, so be sure to take a look at it if you missed it.

Here are items you see from my home that you can Shop this Post and some similar items to mine:

I also shared my Spring tablescape with blue and green accents so don’t miss that! And also the Spring mantel and kitchen space. Lots of spring ideas for you!

And don’t miss all these ladies and their beautiful colorful Spring tours! I know it will lift your spirits so much and we all need lifting these days. We have to stay positive and grateful during this time and know that we are all in this together and we will make it together!

I love the small painting on your foyer table, it reminds me of the times spent down south just walking in a wildlife refuge.

Thanks for sharing your pretty home Rhoda. I love those Easter Eggs and I will be on the look out for some blue and white napkins once we are released from house arrest.lol I used to do this technique with picture frames back in the 1980s. So many things you can do with Modge Podge and paper napkins. Stay well. Tell Mark I like his hidey hole color you shared on your Insta story.

HI, Marlene, we got that fixture at Williams Sonoma, here’s the link. We fell in love with it and didn’t find anything that compared.https://rstyle.me/+DdwXS2Muh18wHUUwnP7_xg
