We are winding down August this week and I guess I’m ready for it! September is a lovely month that happens to be one of my faves, so I’ll take it. We are heading to the beach in September to, so that’s something fun to look forward to. Today’s Style Showcase features blue and white beach style kitchen, fall decorating ideas, 30 free fall printables, and 5 ways to decorate for fall. Enjoy the shares.
Today, I’m headed to Cashiers, NC to tour the Cashiers showhouse and I can’t wait to see it. Always a treat, it’s been a few years since I made my way up there, but I was invited by a brand this year, so I’ll definitely be blogging it soon.

I miss your older post of when you were posting of antique/vintage shopping, things you were doing in your house i.e, your previous house. As maybe many of us are not interested in putting in a pool. Miss you showing clothing you bought not pictures of what shops have. I am sure after a while bloggers run out of things to talk about. I don’t mean to sound negative as you were always a favorite blogger.

HI, Robbie, you are right, after 15 years of blogging it’s hard to keep that pace up. I don’t go vintage shopping a lot anymore because my house is full and I need to get rid of things and not add to it. As far as clothing, I can’t keep up that pace either of buying new clothes all the time, so my blogging content has definitely changed as I’ve aged and blogged for so long. This will be the way it is from now on, so I hope you still enjoy what I share. It’s where I am in life now. I will still share what we are doing in our house, whether it’s a room redo or the pool. That was a big deal for us.

Moving your guest bedroom rug to the living room gave me so many ideas! My husband just asked “where am I?” when he walked into the family room 🙂 And I just got started.

Hi, Nancy, that made me laugh, I’m so glad you got inspired! It’s fun to move things around. I didn’t plan on it, it just happened with another switch.

I love your blog and seeing all that you do. I’ve gotten so many great ideas for our house, from your and Mark’s projects. My sweet hubby is in the middle of adding a beautiful bead board accent wall in our guest bedroom, inspired by Mark’s handiwork.

HI, Mary, thanks for letting me know, that makes me happy that we are able to inspire others with our projects.
