We had a very nice Easter and had lunch with mom and dad at assisted living. They really made it special for the residents and guests and we are so thankful to have them close to us so we can visit with them often. Mark’s mom is looking at assisted living facilities too and may be moving in the next few months. We would love to have her at Dogwood as well, so will see what the future holds for her. She came for a visit last week and really liked it.
Enjoy these shares today from me and my friends! From spring candles, to coordinating rugs, to making a pretty ruffle bowl and finally an Atlanta showhouse tour.

I live in a little village in Shropshire, England right on the Welsh Borders. I really wanted to drop you a line to say how much I love your blog. There are days when I just do not know what to wear and how to wear it and I look at your fashion advice and see something that inspires me and I am good to go. There are days when I dont know what to cook for dinner and once again, I look at your recipes and always produce something good and tasty for the table. There are days when I feel like changing my living room. bedroom, kitchen etc. and I look at your blog and I am always inspired. My son moved to Kentucky to study and I have fallen in love with the ‘Southern Charm’ and Southern design / interiors. Thank you so much Lisa

This is the loveliest letter ever! I’m not Rhoda, I don’t actually know Rhoda but I appreciate you sending this. I am from Louisiana and I can vouch for her, I can tell she is the epitome of a wonderful Southern Lady.
