Hello friends! Mark and I are headed to Williamsburg, VA this week, so I’ll be sharing that adventure when we return. We love to travel as you can see. Today, we’ve got a remodeled kitchen before and after, a DIY rustic wood shelf, planting summer annuals, and garden gate ideas. Enjoy them all!

    Hey Rhoda,
You will be in my neck of the woods! We live in Chester, Va (south of Richmond) about an hour west of Williamsburg but my husband grew up in Williamsburg. I think you and Mark will really enjoy visiting the Colonial Capital and the weather is forecasted to be beautiful all this week. Please make sure you visit Jamestown as well if time allows. Busch Gardens is a beautiful theme park with some great shows, but if rides are not your thing, I would do a day in Yorktown and go to the American Revolutionary War Museum instead.
I have alot of dining suggestions, but the Chickahominy House is one of all-time favorites for lunch. My other dining suggestions are Christiana Campbells Tavern located in the historic district and The Fat Canary.
    Enjoy your time in Virginia!

Thank you, we were invited so the itinerary is set for us, but we are doing a lot of your suggestions, like Yorktown and Jamestown and that tavern. Trying to fit in as much as we can in 3 days.
