Style Showcase 49

Hi friends, I hope you all are having a good week so far, September is almost over. I have some sad news to share today and if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you probably have seen me post that Mark’s daddy passed away yesterday. He had cancer and 2 months ago went in the hospital and never got any better, fading away even more after he got home. We are sad at the loss, but know where he is and that gives us all a lot of peace. I knew when Mark and I got married that we would face the loss of all 4 of our parents together and this is the beginning. It’s a blessing to have all 4 of our parents reach their 90’s and we are thankful for their long good lives.

Today I hope you’ll enjoy these posts from me and my friends.

I’m very sorry for your loss. My mother passed just last October and she was the last of all 4 of our parents.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I hope it’s a comfort that you had your father for so long and made the most of your time with him.

So sorry for your loss. I’ve already been through that season with my parents and I know it’s a sad time. But, as believers, we do know that they are better off and we will see them again. Praying for peace for all of you.

    Rhoda,
My deepest sympathies to Mark, yourself and his family during this sad time. Losing a parent is never easy and having gone through it last September with the loss of my father in law at age 90 I know how difficult it can be. Like you, I know that this life no matter how long we live is temporary and our eternal home is in Heaven. May God grant you peace and comfort during this difficult time.

    Hi Rhoda,
My deepest sympathies to Mark, you, and families. My parents and my husband’s parents had us late in life and the one blessing of that was when they each died, we were younger and stronger than we are now. My father died when I was 22, that one was terribly hard. The rest died when we were in our fifties. They missed so much and we miss them more everyday. I know you take joy in everyday and help us with joy every day…May angels wings hold you..

My condolences to you and Mark. It’s wonderful to have a parent for so many years, but it still hurts when they pass.

Many condolences to Mark and you as you deal with the sad loss of his dad. You are right in knowing where he is and that should bring you both much peace. For you to have four parents living into their nineties…..is a real blessing….and I know that you know that. Thank God for the good memories you have of your parents and know that you will see them again one day. God Bless You and your families.
