Hi friends, thank you so much for all the sweet outpouring of love and tenderness on the post about my parents and assisted living yesterday. I read every one of them and they touched me so much. Your thoughtfulness is much appreciated during this time for my family. I know this subject affects every single family and we all have to go through it. So thank you for caring, it means the world. I’ll be sure and update as we go along on mom and dad and their new living arrangement.

In the meantime, please enjoy these shares we have for you today for Style Showcase. The calendar is turning to September tomorrow and I always love this time of year.

I have been cleaning out my email, etc.Found your blog from the other day-about moving your parents. I know you are aware of just how very blessed you are with your support group. Reading so many of the comments brought back my own experience. You can take comfort in knowing that so many people out there praying for you in support of your current experience. We all know you are doing the best you can with the hard decisions because it is so not easy to have to do. Many good suggestions out there, the cards, the garden. I think one of the hardest things is to take away the keys and the car. That symbolizes independence for so many people and when one has to give that up it is so very depressing for everyone. You are so blessed and fortunate to have so many people pulling for you(wish I had had that at the time, but it is what it is!)Maybe better for me in the long run. Jsut remember when it is your turn. Keep posting so this support group can continue its good work for you! Take care. Since I get to Atlanta every so often, I do enjoy the pictures of the homes you show. I am sure writing every day is hard work with everything else going on. Thanks>
