Walking into Home Depot this week, these beautiful tulips hit me right in the eye as I came in the door.  I do believe there is hope for Spring now, don’t you? I had to stop and stare at them for just a minute.

I just love tulips! They make me happy.

It’s Valentine’s weekend!  Do you have anything special planned for your Valentine?

Here are a few pics to get you in the mood.

A sweet little votive nestled in red and white sprinkles.  What a cute idea for a special Valentines dinner.

These remind of of old fashioned Valentines Day crafts that we use to do in school.  Oh, the good ole’ days.

I love this pretty green toile mug with the vivid green flowers inside.  What a pretty photo it makes.

How about you and your sweetie?  Got any special plans for the weekend?

We are going to a fun Valentines Day banquet at a church that our friends will be singing at, so that should be a special time on Sunday evening.  We are going to wait until Monday night for our official Valentines Day dinner at a restaurant planned specifically for not having to fight the crowds.

Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you!  Hug your sweetie and let him know how much you love him.

IF you subscribe via feed reader, you saw a post about Knobs come across.  That post was scheduled for Monday and I don’t know HOW it showed up in the reader.  So, come back Monday for all the scoop!

And a reminder that I now have a Facebook fan page for Southern Hospitality, so hope you’ll join me there too, if you are into Facebook.  I’m trying to remember to add my new posts over there, so you can stay caught up either way.

    Hi Rhoda,
Just sending some V-Day Luv your way.
    Those tulips look devine!
Cant wait to see spring & smell flowers too.
However, with another storm coming towards the Philly area tomorrow night; spring feels so far away.

I love tulips too! We are also celebrating Valentines Day tomorrow evening because DH is out of town chaperoning a ski trip with our oldest boy’s youth group.

    I became a fan 🙂

Hi Rhoda! I love the green mug with the green plant. It looks very romantic. As for Valentine’s Day plans…well, Larry and I were both feeling under the weather, so our plans have been moved to tomorrow. it’s real simple. We’re having lunch at one of our favorite places. Its a hot dog joint called Arbetter’s. Every year we have either lunch or dinner there for Valentine’s. He gets hot dogs and fries. I get corn dogs and cheese fries. Maybe for some people that’s a sucky meal, but Arbetter’s is “our place”…lol

    hi –
(i did get the monday “sneak preview” post in reader)…

all I have to say is “spray paint the surround”… I did ours and its been holding up well for over 6 months. Just don’t use abrasive cleansers…made a huge difference in our bathroom for $3!!

Im sure you know the tricks already, but if you want/need details email me!

    luv your blog. johnnie
