This ole’ blog of mine sure has evolved since I started it and I’m not even sure how many original readers I still have now. I don’t think all that many who started with me are still reading, but so many of you have joined in along the way and I’m SO grateful for YOU, YOU, and YOU! If you have been reading my blog from the beginning, I’d love to hear about it.
Y’all make this so much fun for me and I’d love to hear from YOU today. I’ve often wondered who all is reading. You lurkers are a mysterious bunch and don’t come out very often. Unless I’m having a giveaway. 🙂 Then, you come out of the woodwork.
So, today is all about YOU! Tell me as much as you want to share, I’d love to know at least what state you live in, how old you are and what you do, if you work out of the home or are a stay at home mom/wife. If you don’t mind sharing. I just think this will be so much fun and instead of me talking, YOU can do the talking today.
OK, who’s first! Come on, don’t be shy, tell me about yourself. We’re all friends here and I would love to know more about my wonderful readers.
And if you have a question for me too, ask away! I’ve got plenty to share from my trip to Atlanta this weekend, but thought this would be fun to do while I get some pics sorted, so I’ll get to that a little later.
Oh, and I just have to throw this in….hello my name is Rhoda, not RhoNda, as many of you think it is! 🙂 I have to laugh, because I’ve been called Rhonda all my life and usually had to correct my teachers the first day of school. I will be 53 in December.

Hi Rhoda,
Greetings from Fort Smith, Ar. I am 57 and have been married for 35 years. We have 3 daughters and 5 wonderful grandchildren.
I have been following your site since your trip to Gulf Shores with your friends. Love that place and enjoy visiting my sister who lives there. I went through your wonderful city on one of my trips to the gulf. Thought of you while shopping in some fun places you have mentioned in your blog. I’d love to meet you. I hope to visit again. After reading how much fun you had with your friends, I took two friends to Gulf Shores. We had a wonderful time!
I love all your ideas and how informative they are. I am no longer reluctant to paint furniture! Thank you for sharing. Pam

Hi Rhoda,
I don’t comment very often but I read your blog daily and enjoy it so much. I just turned 60 a few days ago and live in a very small town (pop. 800) in Kansas! I have two children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. I have been the office manager in the medical clinic here for 30 years! I love decorating and have hosted three open houses over the years thru my home. I am always inspired by your wonderful blog!

I’m a little late, but I’m a regular reader of your blog (and a follower) so I had to join in! I live in Shreveport, Louisiana. I’m 31 years old, married with no kids, just one fur-kid for now! Thanks for your beautiful blog!

I’m late coming to this post! I live in Cahaba Heights (outskirts of B’ham). I’ve had the pleasure of having lunch with Rhoda (do you remember California Kitchen with Cheryl, Mo and Carolyn several years ago)?
I moved back to Florida for a while, but back “home” now. My style was more traditional, but I’m finding more and more that I love Kim McCole’s (Daisy Cottage) bright cheerful home.
Enjoy reading your blog and seeing you write about the places around here and of course, tell your hubby ROLL TIDE!!!

Rhoda,
I am late but wanted to tell you how much I love you. You are always so warm and inviting. You were about the 5th blog I found when I started to look for blogs and have been a regular reader ever since.

Sorry for being late to the party! I’ve been a fan since the old days of GI. You’re the reason we have a black and cream toile bedroom. These days your decorating influence can be found in St. Augustine, where I live with my husband of 23 years, and our 17 year old. We have a 22 year old daughter who lives in Orlando. I am 46. Oh, and even my husband knows who you are! Yes, as we stood last night in the house we are having built, gazing at the boring builder’s bathroom mirrors, my husband commented that he would be following your instructions for framing. He was most likely thinking how he wished he had married someone who could do it herself!

Hi, Rhoda!
Late to this post, too…but I am a new lurker…guess I’m coming out of lurkdom now, though! I only found your blog a couple of weeks ago & have already read through all the archives! I love all your ideas & finds!
So, a little about me…I’m your next-state neighbor, from right outside Jackson, MS…I just turned 30 earlier this month & have been married to my wonderful husband, Andrew, for almost 8 years. Together, we have two beautiful little girls, Reagan, 5 (as of yesterday), & Mallory, 2! I’m a SAHM, & I LOVE decorating & all things artsy-crafty!

Hi Rhoda! I am late, but oh well 🙂 I’m Melissa from Lubbock, Texas. I’m 32, a stay at home mom of 5, my husband is getting his PhD at Texas Tech and is currently writing his dissertation and has received an offer to teach at Virginia Tech, so we are probably moving out east soon! You know I love you 🙂

Hi Rhoda! (I can so sympathize with the name thing, mine gets spelled wrong all the time)
I’m a little late but that’s okay (trying to catch up). I’ve been reading your blog for about 6 months or so. I’m 32 yrs old and live in Kennesaw, GA with my husband. I’m work out the home for a small copier company in Marietta, GA (I’m the inventory/purchasing coordinator).
I just love reading your blog. You are very inspiring and make it all look so easy!
I was cruising some of the other comments and noticed a Roll Tide (UGH!! – HA!) so I thought end this with a good ‘ole GO DAWGS!!
Have a beautiful rest of the week!

Hey Rhoda!!
You know I’m here in Birmingham, but I’m 28 and I do a bit of staying at home and working at home as an accountant. And I think you’re one of the nicest in-real-life and in-blog-life bloggers out there!!!
Hope you’re having a great week!

My name is Missy. Let me first apologize for being late to the party! I live in Alabama, just on the outskirts of Birmingham. I have identical daughters who are 4 and they are my world. I stumbled upon Rhoda’s blog via Twice As Nice blog and fell in love! I was raised visiting some of the same flea markets you visit but I truly never realized what great finds there are. You have opened my eyes. I love reading your blog!

Hi Rhoda
Thanks for visiting our blog last night. I can’t remember how we came across your site. I believe it was through one of the blog ranking sites. We are new to blogging, so I decided to look at the most successful blogs. I loved yours. We are a married couple in our mid 30’s, living in the Greater Toronto Area in Canada. As new homeowners, we enjoy interior decorating, home shows, decorating shows and some heavy duty gardening. Greetings from Ontario.
