The Intel® Core™ i5 processor Giveaway!

BlogHer Reviewer

This is a compensated review by BlogHer and Intel.

Having a brand new laptop has been so great! I am thrilled with the speed and how this new processor with the Intel chip makes my blogging life easier. You know how it is when a computer can’t keep up?! That’s not a problem with my fancy new machine.

My little office nook gets a good workout every single day! You can see here that it’s not picture perfect all the time. There’s work to be done. 🙂

As I mentioned, I do a lot of photo editing. That is a breeze and the speed is lightening fast. Connection speed is great, as well as getting things done in a timely manner. I also use my computer to store spreadsheets, do Word documents and definitely needed the storage space for my thousands of pics that I have saved. Those pics need lots of room to spread out.

I also do some room consultations and need to be able to move around the web, gathering pics and getting ideas saved. I can open lots of windows and switch back and forth with the sweep of my mouse. I love that this computer has twice the memory that my little netbook has. It’s definitely going to keep me on task with blogging and other areas of my life.

This cool feature would be great to use for movies, checking out family pics online.  Can you imagine sharing your family photos on a big screen like this?

Now, after sharing how the laptop has improved my work life balance, you know the great news!  I’ll be giving away a $250 Best Buy giftcard for ONE of my readers. I’m so excited to share this with all of you and can’t wait to see someone else benefit from the giveaway.

YES, you can sign up AGAIN, even if you signed up on the 1st giveaway post.  Double your chances!!

I totally and completely love my new laptop!

Here is some more info on the Intel Core processor family. Visit Intel for more information:

  • Smarter processors that deliver extra performance whenever you need it, and increased energy efficiency when you don’t.
  • Features 4-way (and 8-way) multi-task processing that allows each core of your processor to work on two tasks at the same time— that’s Intel® Hyper-Threading

This is a sponsored post with BlogHer and you’ve already heard the GREAT news! I will be giving away a $250 giftcard to Best Buy for one of YOU and there are other chances to win on the round-up page below. Be sure and sign up at all of them to maximize your chances.

I will NOT be giving away a laptop, but a $250 giftcard to Best Buy.

Giveaways are from BlogHer and not Intel.

Oh my gosh, this would be so awesome. My daughter and her husband are both trying to go to school and are using one computer between them. This would be such a wonderful gift for them. Thank you for the chance to win.

Well, this would be extremely helpful, as our present 7-yr old Dell computer is in the shop being diagnosed and we don’t have the verdict as yet! In the meantime, my hubby has been doing research and discussing the Intel Core processors with me. I will share the comments from your blog with him! THANKS!

It would make my life better because it would make my husband’s life better! He so needs a new laptop. Winning this would help us do that!

I wouldn’t have to kick my kids off of my laptop all of the time. They could just have it and I could have the fancy, schmancy new one!! 😉

Pictures, pictures, pictures!! We really need the brain and brawn of this computer! Like you, I do everything on the computer on a daily basis. But I’d really like to get this for my husband. His computer is very old and will no longer take the recovery disks to reformat it. (It’s OLD!) It has recently begun shutting down every few minutes and I fear its days are numbered. We can’t afford to replace it so I’d really love to give him this computer. $250 dollars toward it would greatly help!

I don’t have a laptop….but oh how much I would LOVE one! Then I could work in the living room and be with my Doodle and not stuck in the other room when I want to get on the computer and do blog ‘work’. 🙂

You’re a brave soul to share a picture of your desk ;). My photo hobby sucks up all my storage space too. What did we ever do before computers and digital cameras….. and the internet???!

Thanks for hosting such a great giveaway.

My current desktop computer (which is ancient) is getting slower and slower and winning a lovely new laptop would be a treat. I’m currently in the hunt for my first home, and don’t have the ready funds to replace my old clunker, so I’d love to win this giveaway!

What a dream to have a computer that has so many features. As much
as I would like to have it for myself, I would give it to my grandson.
His computer has been broken for several months and his parents don’t
have the extra money to replace it. He is so deserving….never asking for
anything. This would help him out so much with school and college next fall. Thank you for hosting a FABULOUS giveaway.

I’d help out since we have a baby due in 3 weeks, and all family/friends are in Texas over 10 hours away. It’d allow me to blog anywher ein the house with the little man beside me.

I have 5 children, and several of them share my computer. It gets quite slow on occasion with all the activity. I’d love a faster processor to solve that problem!

How would it help? My hubby has been very ill and having a laptop would #1 allow him to use the computer again but also allow me to sit with him in the evenings while blogging and not spend time away from him in my office:)

It would help that I’m not constantly worrying that my power cord is going to break the rest of the way! It’s already bent and I’m just waiting on it to bite the dust, I don’t even want to think about what it will cost to fix. Being able to have more than a couple of programs running would save me tons of time too. I’m always multi-tasking on my laptop and it runs so slow!

With kids at home, I generally only have a few minutes here or there during the day to get things done on the computer. Waiting around for a program to load or save just isn’t something I have a lot of time for! Having a faster processor would let me make the most of the computer time that I have and still be able to spend a lot of quality time with my family as well. 🙂

How wonderful! I heard about your giveaway from another blogger. I don’t have a laptop and am stuck at my desk. It would be wonderful to be able to be connected from other plces in my home and away.
