The Knorr 4 Prize Pack Giveaway!

September 6, 2011 By Rhoda 329 Comments

After my win in CA with the Knorr 4, I’m excited to be a part of this team of ladies who will be representing Knorr products.  The Knorr concentrated chicken stock was a perfect fit with my mom’s chicken and dumplings recipe and evidently the judges thought so too.

Here are 7 out of the 8 who began the competition and then after judging commenced, we were pared down to the Final 4.  Sort of like basketball!  🙂

I was pretty calm and collected even though we were being judged by a world famous chef, Chef Marco Pierre White, but he put me at ease and when I heard he liked chicken and dumplings, I breathed a little sigh of relief.  This was one of the most fun experiences I’ve ever had and I look forward to sharing the news of Knorr products with everyone.

I’m very happy to be a representative of Knorr, since I have seen their products in my local grocery store for years and know that they have a good reputation in the kitchen.  You can always count on Knorr for good tasting food products and I can definitely attest to the Knorr Homestyle concentrated chicken stock.  It’s genius, mixing one of those little packets to 3 1/2 cups of water.  Tasty, full of flavor, this product will be loved by home cooks across the country.

I can now say that my mom’s chicken and dumpling recipe is award winning! At least in a cook-off with Knorr.

CCheck out the video I did with Knorr during the cook-off!  I’m not used to being on camera, but it was such a fun experience, one that I’ll never forget! Please watch the video, it turned out nice!

You’ll be seeing some fun recipes from me in the next few months using these wonderful Knorr products. I’m very happy and excited to be spreading the good news of Knorr with all of my readers and not only that, Knorr is giving away some goodies to one of you too as a special treat, a Knorr Prize Pack:

  • Concentrated Knorr Homestyle Stock
  • A Knorr apron (like the yellow one you see me wearing!)
  • $100 giftcard (cold hard cash)!

I know!! How exciting is that?!  I know that all you cooks out there would love to win this prize pack.

What recipe are you looking forward to making with Knorr® Homestyle Stock?

Leave me a comment for the chance to win a Knorr® Homestyle Stock prize pack which includes both the chicken and beef varieties of Knorr® Homestyle Stock, a Knorr apron and $100!

Like my family’s chicken and dumplings, do you have a special family recipe that calls for chicken stock?

Tell me about it in the comments for a chance to win the Knorr Prize Pack!

I use stock for a chicken and rice baked dish. It is probably my daughters most requested dish.

I like to use chicken stock for my potato soup! Also, like you, in chicken and dumplings! It’s so good, I also use it to flavor up vegetables when boiling them to make a casserole!

After many years of striving to make the best potato soup ever, I finally came up with one that is great! The two special ingredients are a nice rich chicken stock ( and Knorr’s fits the bill) and some rosemary, either fresh or dried…adjust for taste. Everyone raves about this soup!!

Loved your video, I smiled all the way through it.
I would love to try Knorr stock on the northern version of chicken and dumplings, Pa Dutch chicken pot pie.

I have tried your mother’s recipe and it was a hit in this household. Chicken and noodles is my husband’s favorite meal, even better than steak!

I’ve been waiting until we get cooler weather in Oklahoma to cook chicken & dumplings. I will be sure to try this Knorr chicken stock. I think I’ll use it in my chicken & noodles also.

Rhoda – I enjoyed your video! You look great on camera and are a perfect spokesperson for Knorr products. You have a slight southern accent 🙂 and sound so friendly and likeable they couldn’t help but choose you! I would love to win the Knorr products and with fall on the way here in Ohio it’s time to start making soups and stews! Thanks for the chance!

I found a recipe in Martha Stewart’s Living magazine about Paillards. Paillard is a french term for flattened meat. My family really enjoys this quick fix meal,,and the one we love with chicken stock is called Chicken Paillards with Lemon-Butter Sauce. Rhoda you looked and sounded great on the video,,I’m so proud of you.

I would love to win this contest. I would use this product when I make my chicken soup this fall and winter. I am so happy that you won the Knorr contest. The chicken and dumpling recipe looks delicious. I plan on making it. I love southern cooking but am born and bred in Calif. Good things have been coming your way and you certainly deserve them!

Rhoda, I look forward to using this stock in my potato soup this fall and winter. I’m sure it will make a richer soup base. Can’t wait! I’m wondering if they make a low-sodium stock?

I’ve always used Knorr to make spinach dip. I’m going to try the Knorr chicken stock in my Chicken and Dumplings recipe since it’s a favorite in our home.

One of my favorite soups to make is lentil soup. A rich broth adds so much depth of flavor.

I have an 11 year old son who is not only a very picky eater, but has a lot of food allergies. He recently discovered that he loves chicken noodle soup–and I do mean just that….chicken, broth and noodles! The new Knorr packets are the perfect size to make a batch of soup just for him!
