Thrifty Treasures Party is Back!

Last year, we had SO much fun with the Monday Thrifty Treasures party, so I’m bringin’ it back!  We’ll get it cranked up again on Monday, March 15 so mark your calendars.  Hopefully, things will be a little warmer by then and the yardsales will have started once again for the Spring season.  At least they will be around here.

You can add yardsale OR thriftstore finds or really any thrifty finds that you have discovered that week and we’ll all link up on Mondays.  Even if I don’t go thrifting or find anything that week, we’ll do the party and hopefully keep it going again all summer.

I look forward to another fun season of thrifty treasures!  This year, to make it even more fun, I’m going to try to get some sponsors who would like to do a giveaway for Thrifty Mondays.  There will be a $25 cost to do the giveaway each week and I would ask that the giveaway items be at least $50.  This should make Mondays even more fun to look forward to.  So, if you have a shop with some fun items you think we’d like to see, please email me and I’ll get you on the calendar.

Please spread the word to all your friends too!

I’m participating in a fun blogger event today.  A  nearby pottery studio has invited a few bloggers in to make something special for ourselves and I’ll be doing a giveaway of a pretty handmade pottery piece for ONE of you (and NO, it won’t be made by me, trust me!) :).  Stay tuned for details!

Yeah! I have been waiting and waiting to start again! I can’t wait to see what people find! We are moving into a new house right around then, so I will hopefully find lots of good things for our new place.

    Thanks for hosting!

So excited about yard sale season!!

Completely jealous of your day making pottery. I love working on the wheel. Can’t wait to see all the beautiful pieces! Is it a studio around here?

Yeah! What fun! We’ve hardly had a winter out here in Washington State (in the mountains where we usually get tons of snow)…so, our season should be picking up fairly soon!

    Happy pottery creating!

Sounds fun! I can’t wait to see all the goodies that everyone will find!

I am so ready for warm weather. I live in Nashville and went to the monthly Tennessee State Flea Market this morning and it was too cold! However, there were a few more vendors than last month. By the way, if you have never been to this flea market, you’ve got to check it out!! It ranks in the Top 10 in the US. I find so many good things there! I’m lucky to live within a few miles of it.

Oh, boy! I was thinking about emailing you to see if you were planning on hosting this again this year, but I guess you read my mind. 😉 It is still freezing here in Virginia, but I may see if I can make an effort to stop by Salvation Army every so often.

I really enjoyed your weekly parties b/c your guests were so great. I always received lots of visits. 🙂 I’ll admit…some weekends I would feel a little pressured to find something great to post about, but this year I’ll try not to worry about that. So looking forward to it!

Beat you to it Rhoda! I went to the Flea Market out by me today and found 3 ladderback chairs to paint for the beach. I got all 3 for $35!!! Since I couldn’t get the 4 or 6 I would like eventually, I got a bench out of my basement and I’m gonna paint and recover that. I’ve already cleaned and used Liquid Sandpaper on them. Before and afters to come…

Hi Rhoda, I have been hoping you would bring this fun event back. It’s still way too cold for garage sales here but boy do I hit the thrift stores. I am amazed at all the good junk out there that people get rid of! LOL!
