We (my friends, Debbie and Tiffany), hit a big church sale this week, as well as a few other yardsales along the way. She found some great things for herself (an upholstered rocking chair)and her son (2 end tables, lamp, and misc. stuff), who just bought a house. Now we really will have to look out for some furniture for him.  I didn’t take pics of her haul, but she did great this week.

I love finding a good tool at a yardsale.  This is the only thing I picked up this week, but I’m excited to find it, as I don’t have one of these power screw drivers/drills.  This one is cordless with a charger and I made sure it is working before I bought it for $9.  Great deal and I will definitely put this to good use.  I even got a small pack of drill bits and can always add more later.

    My hubby has one of those drills and loves it…wait until I tell him what you paid for it !!! I have used it and they’re awesome….

    A few weeks ago I saw Matthew interviewed on one of our local stations…..congrats on the magazine…I hope it does well….

    We are supposed to get another soaker….I like to think April showers brings May flowers….but what does a deluge bring ??? YIKES !!!

    ps Have you seen the newish FLOR tiles…I got such a great deal on them at a discount store up here….I bought 65 of them orig. price is 10-15.00 per tile …..I paid 1.99 ea….going to use them in our downstairs family room….that’s what I’ve found lately !!! 🙂 (hope I like them)

    I LOVE having my own tools! I treated myself to a new toolbox . . . with a lock since my sweetie doesn’t do a good job returning MY tools!

    It is so nice to see your party here again. I have missed it. It is just a bit early in the Season for me, but you inspired me to get ready, stretch my thrifting muscles and think about what I am going to focus my hunt on.

    You (and a few others) inspired me to go to the 50% off sale at Goodwill this weekend. Found a cute metal lamp for $1.99 after the 50% off, went to HD bought some spray paint and it is good to go. Just need to find the lamp shade.
