The Weekenders Book Launch {with FUN Giveaway!}

You all are in for a treat today!  We’ve got a fun book launch and fashion and jewelry giveaway happening today, so get ready for some excitement.

My author friend, Mary Kay Andrews and a few others have cooked up a fun promotion in celebration of her brand new 24th book, The Weekenders.  Mary Kay lives here in Atlanta in the historic Avondale Estates and I went down there this week for a photoshoot at her house.

You might remember that I photographed her other historic Avondale Estates home a couple of years ago at Christmas. It’s a gorgeous tour!  This one is beautiful too and when she gets it finished, she’ll let me come back and shoot it as well. Yay!

OK, now on to the really fun stuff!

Mary Kay said this house finally has enough bookcases that hold her books and she can now get them out of boxes and on the shelves.  For an author who has written 24 books in 25 years, that’s quite an accomplishment.  How great that she has these built-ins in her new house!  This is just a portion of them.

Speaking of books, The Weekenders has just been released and hits the stores May 17th, just in time for the summer beach season.  Reading a Mary Kay Andrews novel just reminds me of summer, they are great reads by the pool or lounging on the beach.  Chick lit at its best! I haven’t had the chance to read this one yet, but you can bet I will!
