Zatarain’s Frozen Meals Freebie!

{Giveaway is Closed}

Happy Saturday, friends!

If there’s anything that gets my attention, it’s free food. You’d think as much as I like to eat that I might weigh a lot more, but really I do love good food.  Most of the time, I prefer my food to be fresh ingredients, cooked at home with simple fare and tasty herbs.  But, sometimes as we all know, time gets in the way and you just have to take shortcuts some days in order to get something in that tummy.

I don’t buy a lot of frozen meals, but have been known to get by on these when there is just no time to cook.  The fine folks at Zatarain’s recently sent me some freebie coupons to try out their new frozen entrees.  You know they are known for tasty dishes and spicy Cajun flavor and these meals don’t disappoint. Heat and eat, can’t get any easier than that!

I popped into my local Publix to see what they had and picked up 3 different varieties (some I got more than one) and these are the ones that looked good to me and my taste buds.

I’ve already tried the Chicken Alfredo and the Chicken with Yellow Rice and both were equally tasty.  Zatarain’s is known for their flavorful foods and these live up to the spicy, tasty standards that you normally think of when you hear the name Zatarain’s.

So, they gave me 5 extra freebie coupons, valued at around $3 each ($15) to give to one of my readers!  If you’d like to try out 5 free frozen Zatarain’s meals for yourself, just leave a comment and tell me what you like about Zatarain’s products.

{Note: I received no monetary compensation for this post, only free coupons.}

That’s it!  I’ll choose a winner in a few days and mail out your coupons to you.

    I haven’t actually tried Zatarain’s, but my son loves their products and says that they are easy to fix. I would love to win the coupons for my son and thanks for the opportunity to enter the drawing.

    My husband and I use Zatarain’s rice when we cook jambalaya. I’d like to try their frozen version because when we cook it, it’s takes a while. Thanks for the giveaway.

    Yum! I just got married and stocking our pantry/fridge is expensive. I’d love to give this a try! I like that Zatarain’s is well seasoned and tastes so good. I’m sure these meals are just as great as their other products! Thanks for sharing.

    The only thing I have tried of Zatarans is the yellow rice. We really like rice anyway but their yellow rice is refreshing change from just plain rice.

    I have never tried them….would love to. Sometimes I feel like a robot while shopping I buy the same old same old, I sometimes peek into other carriages for ideas but don’t want to appear creepy, remember Oprah used to go around and knock on doors asking “what r u cooking for dinner” that’s how I feel LOL “what cha buying?”…….

    Thanks Rhoda,

    Kathy 🙂

    We enjoy Zatarains boxed rice mixes. I was not aware that they had the frozen. My college age son will be happy to hear of the easiness as he is a big fan of the jambalaya. Up here in the north we only know how to make it from a box mix! When in the jr high my son’s class was studying the south and he was the only one (including the teacher) who knew what jambalaya was!
    Love your blog.

    Our family loves Zatarain’s Jambalaya boxed rice. Love the flavor and as my son would say, “It has just the right kick to it”. Zatarain’s is an easy go to meal when we want to have a simple meal. Would love to try their frozen meals.

    My husband loves Cajun food, so I’ve used Zatarain’s Jambalaya dry rice mix a few times. I’d love to try some of the frozen meals.
